This is truly ridiculous. I am trying to communicate to you that a feature of your website does not work as intended and the only response you have is to merge my comments with an already closed thread. Allow us(the user) to completely turn off a type of "news" we don't care about. Maybe the "show less from _____" could actually do something. I really don't care about sports/fashion/gossip and I'm sure there are others that don't want to see politics/science.

Does it really take your engineering team over one month to "look into" this problem? Considering this isn't the first thread discussing this, have they ever looked into it?? Any chance you could respond to let us know WHEN this will actually be resolved? Who ever heard of support taking MONTHS to solve a problem, let alone "look into" it???

It really needs to changed to "BLOCK this Publisher" but, you can save yourself the trouble of asking anything from Yahoo, Christopher. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, on that joke of a home page is about the MONEY they get from those content providers. They will never allow you to remove that content permanently. If you haven't already noticed, after a short time your request to "see less" goes away and you have to redo it all over again with the same results. Same s**t, different day.
