You've done it again. You have merged my comment with one you INCORRECTLY closed because the "show less" option STILL DOES NOT WORK!!!
This is truly ridiculous. I am trying to communicate to you that a feature of your website does not work as intended and the only response you have is to merge my comments with an already closed thread. Don't close my comments. Don't merge this with an old, already closed thread. FIX THE SHOW LESS OPTION!!!

Hi,
Our Engineering team is looking into this. If you could let us know what about the “show less” option isn’t working we would appreciate it. Please provide specific publishers if possible.
Regards,
Homepage Support

Any progress on this simple-to-fix error? Has anybody even investigated it yet? Here I am, still choosing to show less from the same publishers on the SAME articles, months and months and months in. Are these paid advertisers that you don't list as sponsored? Is that why you won't block them? Are you too incompetent to actually make a simple search feature work? FIX THE **** SHOW LESS FEATURE ALREADY!!!!!

Take for example I do not like "National Interest" Articles becauce they are mostly **** and false news, I cannot remove that source from my news feed even though they are ****!
-
Dale Juneau commented
Some articles from different news sites are KNOWN to be totally fake, your show less button does nothing to stop them, please add a remove completly from news feed button

90% of what is on the page is from publishers I don't care to see anymore and show to still be flagged as "show less."

Every article or every piece of content is on my blocked list - why are these the only ones that appear on my homepage???? I don't give a fl4ilk about Jonas, or NBC sports, or Seventeen, Cosmo, Hufpost, Good Housekeeping, Marketwatch, MOtley Fool, KUTK Houston, (I live in NY), SanFrancisco SPorts, Entertainment Tonight - I get the same article 12 times and from the same blocked publisher like ET - 16 times on the same page. I don't care if Sophie Turner chokes or kisses her husband 10 times. I just don't give a ****. I have examples.
Where is any real news?? Why is Yahoo beating up its customers with inanity. I'm only here for my email, but I am slowly but surely moving it out to gmail.

Why doesn't your "show less from" feature actually work? Is it just a lie or are you completely incompetent?

i have People, Huffpost, Ref29 and lots more BLOCKED! now they are showing up on my main home page. it sounds to me this is back firing on you losers at Yahoo and are losing ad revenue by letting people block certain web content. straighten this out or users will go away in droves, including me. tone down your "agenda".

So, are you guys still "looking into this?" Every single publisher I have on my Yahoo feed is one that I have selected "Show less from." What exactly are you doing over there? Instead of focusing on how to push your agenda, you should focus on fixing your platform. LEARN TO CODE

I've clicked on the 'see less' of so and so news. But I'm still seeing them. Please fix.

This feature was most welcome when it was announced but it is no longer working ... Today I have 12 items, mostly from Huffington Post, that I had marked as show less and I'm still getting them. Why? Please fix this so that it work. I'm not interested in HuffPO, Bloomberg, Salon, Vox, and some others..

Like most of the other posters I want to see less of HuffPo ... I would prefer to see none ... but the opposite has happened. I'm seeing more.

Why is every article OLD by 2-3 weeks?
Every single article is by a publisher I declined. Its a **** page. Why is every article from a blocked PUBLISHER????/
They are **** - not news and that's why I blocked it. -

I have selected "Show less" on virtually all Sports sites, yet my main page is infested with sports articles. Come on, Yahoo, get with it!

As I posted on May 7th...
"Just looking at the site now and the first five articles on my feed were from publishers that are on my list to be shown less. Two were from the same publisher! I don't care about articles from Who What Wear, or Elle, or Cosmo, or People, or Yahoo Lifestyle, or InStyle, or Seventeen, or PureWow, or Prevention, or Fatherly, or Entertainment Weekly, or Harper's Bazaar, or Good Morning America, or Marie Claire, or Glamour, or Vanity Fair, or ..."
This alone proves that you did not even read the comments in this thread before posting your nonsense "information requested." I'm going to guess this thread has two more months before you tell us you've fixed the problem and close it, and I can guarantee that the show less feature will still not work.

of the first 25 articles in my news feed 20 were from publishers that i marked to show less......in addition when i clicked the show less button the first option was to undo the show less......my yahoo is choked with garbage about sports, brainless "celebrities", and ignorant articles about British royalty and their personal lives.....in reality using the show less button has increased the amount of garbage i get from those publishers rather than reducing it

So, Homepage Support... It looks like you need to fire your "engineering" team and hire someone that knows what they are doing.
You want specific "publishers?" How about Huffington Post, Washington Post, Yahoo anything, basically the agenda pushing nonsense you endorse. Just go ahead and fix it. LEARN TO CODE
