Stop using 'slams,' 'slammed.' English has a wide vocabulary. Find some new verbs!
Expand your vocabulary. I get pretty tired of seeing that someone has been "slammed" or that "x slams y!" If you are being paid to write, use a thesaurus or something.

That's true. Yahoo needs to keep it fresh with new or at least accurate ways of writing things.
