It's about the most ridiculous thing I've ever encountered online. I can't believe it's taking this long to fix.

I open a news article. 5-10 seconds later a HUGE pop up from YOU GUYS covers 2/3rd of the screen and freezes everything. I can't read the article, or close the pop up. If I refresh it just starts all over again.
MAKE IT STOP!!
Also, I already have the stupid App, and it is TERRIBLE! STOP TRYING TO MAKE ME USE IT!!!
This should never happen.

Add an "opt out" button at least. Sheesh.
The pop up covers the full page and won't let you past it, meaning it's time to give up on Yahoo! as a news source, which I don't think was the intent. Please fix this

Not sure you did this intentionally, but your 'pop-up' add to install the yahoo app on my tablet renders most of your news articles unreadable and there is no way to close it except abandon the page.
If this was intentional, what a train wreck. Imagine all the advertisers that paid for impressions that are not seen, but that look like they are seen. Imagine the irate users. The poor customer experience. I cannot see supporting a company that would do that to its users.
If it was an accident, wow... what a mess up. It works 'OK' on Android phones... still kinds of a poor experience that does not set a good example of what to expect if I installed the app.
Either way... wow... that product manager should consider a new career... in say ... I have no idea where you put a person like that... i was going to say landscaping but they would probably build a brick wall in front of a window.
