turning off comments then publishing false and biased stories makes yahoo look very bad in my view.

It's total nonsense - put the comments back NOW!
While I don't like the fact that Yahoo has removed our ability to comment on articles, that is a private company and they can set whatever rules they want. Your First Amendment rights pertain to GOVERNMENT interference, so stop showing your ignorance. If you don't like what's happening, you are free to use some other platform to air your grievances.

Yahoo has decided before this election to silence the conservative voice in a subtle but unconstitutional way. They think that they can publish the left wing garbage which is aimed at damaging the conservative party without having any rebuttal. They are censoring our free speech and our right to express our opinion on this platform. I have contacted some senators in DC to alert them that this is happening. Will continue to do so until they take action.

Comments was the thing that set Yahoo apart from other "news" feeds. No comments, then I will go somewhere else.

Your just the soapbox that people stand on to speak, nothing more! You should not be in the business of restricting any speech on the site. Let us point out the ignorant who post on the site.

Put the comments sections back for all the articles and stories. If some people don't like the comments that's too bad, there is a thing called free speech. If you want to delete the seriously offensive comments fine, but let people speak their minds.
