We do not need more students, look at the trouble they are causing already, what we
need to do is rethink our entire education system. With our whole economical system changing, the jobs that we have now compared to
50 years ago is an enormous change. The elementary school is the most
important but needs to be revamped and then from there we need an over haul before we jump in and make any changes. We should be doing a full review and revamp every 25 years as what are the jobs
that are being offered and where there are weaknesses. I know there
are studies that come out with some of this info but how do we work
them into our education system? Just remember that not to have a
college education is not a sin or personal weakness. Because there are enough careers that do not require a higher education. One thing
that has changed is the lack of vocational education and if we beefed
that up it might be beneficial. The student loan crises should be our
wake up call to be reworked if the amount of loans can not be paid back why? School is too expensive period. Elitist schoold need to take a look at the need to remain elitist.
