Tell the backstory of what is being updated.
If you're going to "report" on an ongoing story, you need to provide some background on what the issues at hand are. This garbage this morning tells nothing. https://www.yahoo.com/news/parents-attorney-respond-bay-area-222617899.html There is nothing, either in the video or in the accompanying blurb, to give the reader the slightest idea of what is going on. It happens often in the rush to be the first to report on a story. Don't post incomplete stories. It damages your credibility.
