AUTO PLAY VIDEOS - Stop at once !
Have mentioned this, and so have many other viewers, buy to NO avail. STOP Auto Play Videos ! Many are sheer rubbish. Viewers spend much of their time clicking on the PAUSE button as they scroll down the news items. Takes too much of Bandwidth / data bundles ( subscriber fee ). Especially carrier data charges and battery.
Suggestion seems to be falling on deaf ears.

Stop with the autoplaying video ads! Banner ads we all know and accept. Stop autoplaying videos and if the user stops them leave them stopped. Don't restart them 5 seconds later!

The Xfinity ad, with SOUND is the most annoying!!! Take it down or at least prevent the sound from interrupting browsing!! Don't like it! Don't want it!! NO ad should automatically play sound.....NO AD!!!

Your ad servers are not respecting user settings regarding auto-playing video ads nor the mute setting of those ads. it is driving me insane all of these ads suddenly playing audio and interrupting me. Your site is a detriment to the internet.

It would be nice to have an agree or disagree with many of these comments. And then if someone would actually read them and listen to your readers.

Click a story, takes forever to load then it's not even about the story or it has that sad pathetic music. Please give me the option to click to start it and then I can wait for it to load. I've learned most everything moving is Yahoo pathetic anyway. The only way they can count lots of viewers is to force the **** on us.

the surest way to lose readers and you advertising dollars is to keep putting the stupid video pop-outs on every page. open a page, scroll down to read and the **** video pops out, close it and scroll another paragraph and the **** thing pops out again. If i wanted to see the video then i wouldnt have closed it in the first place. I am fast getting to the point that on any search or browse, if the article is from yahoo then i just skip it.
