This worried me when I read that when Russia first invaded the Ukraine and the president
of the Ukraine indicated he was getting offers of private citizens helping
to fend off Russians advancement. I immediately thought of the the fringe elliment, i.e. the Proud Boys or the Oath Keepers. Knowing that they were heavily involved with the insurrection in this country. The former does not have a sensible filter-if someone likes him and wants to take up arms for him-he is in. He has no loyalty to this country, his
family, his friends. He is 110% self serving and he will lie and spew misinformation til the cows come in. I never see anything written(other
than by his Niece and her two books about how dangerous he is) that
makes me think that anyone really gets how dangerous a person like
the former really is to a country that is democratic. He does not have
a democratic bone in his body, he is strictly autocratic-period. But I digress again. The president of Ukraine right now is in a perfect position to be taken in by these insurgents that claim they are their to
help but that is not what they are really after=they are self-serving. I
thought when this started that I wish I could warn him. (See how big my ego is-thinking that I might be able to ward him off of these people.
I realize that is not among my powers and I just hope that the Ukraine
sees what is happened and make sure they do not grap any port in the
storm and gets in trouble with these deciates.
