I have been reading so much about DeSantis and his power play with Disney. This is
the best example yet that shows DeSantis has someone who does not
care about Florida or the people who live there. Without actually knowing
I imagine Disney is the biggest employer of the folks in Florida and I also
would guess the most tax dollars that have made Florida a tourist haunt.
Why would anyone in their right mind try and target Disney?? This is
beyond any rational action because Disney is more than just an employer of millions and tax dollars it is an American stable and has
gone on around the world as a example for kids and adults alike.
This is a man who has garnered a preceived power and has run with
it not caring where it lands and what the results will be. Banning books
to reflect a Hitler complex and involving himself where he has no
expertise that will effect the kids for generations in the future. Spying
on teachers in the classroom, talking about racism, making almost
evevtthing about sexual matters to convince people that we are trying
to sway how our children are turning out sexually. This is n ot normal
and healthy discourse from a politician with his ilk. He is the problem
and I hope in November you show him what banning really means.
