HAS DONE TO FILIPINOS

Mind poisoning is one indication (among many) as to how we have become utterly depraved as a people and nation - because of lies, fake news, disinformation and distortions that so abound in the world of internet to bedevil our country, and which social blight only social media can inflict.
Simply know what's trending and who's trending. Read or watch their politically cooked "appetizing" blogs or vlogs, together with the similarly colored, cooked comments of their troll peers or brainwashed followers - and you need not think further to conclude why bad is now considered as good and vice versa; why black is now seen as white and vice versa.
I have talked to a lot of our countrymen and asked them what they think about the killings (extrajudicially) of many thousands of fellow Filipinos who were either tagged, reported or suspected as drug users and dealers, including the countless, nameless, helpless children, minors and innocents who died in the Duterte "drug war" - only to be categorized (inhumanly) as collateral damage.
The response or "consensus" among those interviewed which comprised about 85% of them (men and women, young and old) was "ok lang" (it's alright). Imagine that. Unthinkable! Solving a nation's drug problem is good, but murdering its people to solve it is not. In fact, it's hellish.
I wonder, who would emerge as a runaway, landslide winner between Jesus Christ and ***** if an election or approval rating poll were to be held today in our country, with Filipinos entangled in the crazy, kooky, mad empire of delusion and fabrication in social media. Unshackle!

How come nobody is howling from among trolls over the refusal of certain "senators" to sign the Gordon heroic report on "the anomalies hounding the multibillion-peso pandemic contracts"?
