The new format sucks!!!!!! If I can't switch back I will find a new homepage.
Allow the customers to switch back. There is not one post here or on the net that says that someone likes the new format

Thank you for the feedback! We do have an option to revert back to the previous version. At the top of the page you should see a purple banner. Within that banner you would need to click on "Old Version" or you'll see an option saying return to yahoo.com. For additional support please visit help.yahoo.com

The new Yahoo Homepage is very frustrating. I only like to see the topics I choose on my Homepage. I suggest:
1. Let me choose the topics I want to see on my home page, as Yahoo did before.
2. Let me tag an article with "Not Interested" or "Don't show articels from this Source (YouTube does this when you click on the 3 dots to the right of each video title>
3. Please tag promotion articles clearly. See google tagging, like: "why this Ad" or the "Sponsored" Category. -

This new format is **** and you need to go back to the old My Yahoo. You can't personalize the new one. I want to see my stocks, weather for my location and my sports. If you can't go back to a user friendly home page with my personal stuff then I'll have to say goodby to yahoo.

AGREED!!!
Takes way too much time to page thru to get weather, financial portfolios, horoscopes, headlines. Way to ad laden to be efficient. Loading takes forever where as customization allowed everything needed at a glance. Update a huge disappointment. Bye bye Yahoo! -

Your "New" Yahoo Homepage options are terrible! You claim you can select your content, but you can't. You can select your language and that is it. MSN Homepage?

Absolutely hate this new Yahoo format. They are trying to force articles on me that I have no interest in. I had MyYahoo page set up to suit my interests. I'm done. I don't know what I'll try next but it most certainly will not be Yahoo. I'm removing it as my home page and I won't be using it going forward.

a "new MyYahoo" would include, at minimum, customizability, rss feeds, bookmarks, and (above all), email preview.

The new format is not set up "for me" as advertised. It is set up for ad revenue to Yahoo. It is utterly worthless and something I will never look at. Considering that no one under 60 is going to be looking at this site, you are just alienating your only customer base with this change. I've already set up a different site. Bring back My Yahoo or I'm gone.

Bombard me with trash? Take away customization of what is important to me? I'm out after years of getting info from here. Bye

This "new" page is absolutely useless. For four straight days, the top story on the left has been about Jamie Foxx. I couldn't care less. We have a nation falling into fascism and insanity, that's the ******** you think is most important?
If My Yahoo doesn't come back, I just create my own. Creating a web page with my own domain and RSS feeds is not a difficult thing for anyone with a little tech savvy and WordPress experience.

Yahoo's new format is difficult to navigate, has removed or hidden features and information that was important to me, and highlighted their greed by placing more ads, even in the middle of articles! They've spent so much time scooting things around and selling ad space that they've seem to have forgotten the reason people visit the webpage: It's for the news! Just like the pointless 'takeaways' at the top of the news story, it's not the optimum way of delivering the news in detail.

I started a new homepage with StartMe which is very similar to that I had with Yahoo. This page does not do everything our old MyYahoo did, but it does allow me to put things into the homepage I was not able to in MyYahoo. They have a free and paid edition, depending what you need on your homepage. I was able to create my new page for free.
