Hi,
Thank you for your feedback on this. Our product team has added a feature that will allow you to see less of the publishers that you don’t want to see on your Yahoo Homepage Newsfeed. The steps to do so can be found here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/homepage/sln29105.html

I agree with Anonymous. I have said the same thing and they said you have the Option of making a My Yahoo page. Unless you've done work in the publishing industry, it's over Most peoples head. I use FF as my browser and I had AdBlockers and script blocker add-ons. It ***** with playback of ALL videos on the site! I turn them off and it takes Forever for the video to load, and then the audio is out of sync. I have to reload the page 2X as the page loads or until the video loads the same time the audio starts.

boohooanon, yes. I firmly believe that the right to choose what I see on my new page is a very good thing. If that means blocking conservative news so be it. Let me choose whether to add the Blaze or block Salon. If you don't like Fox I have no problem with you blocking that from your news page.

I wouldn't mind BOTH sides being 'reported' on if they were unbiased but I suppose that's a day dream. In the meantime, please allow equal time to both NEWS articles. Opinion articles are a waste of time..

This is a great idea. Let me filter the sources on my feed. I would never block something as important as politics but leaving the lion share of the news sources with an agenda for one side is intolerable to me and obviously others as well.

Making news outlets compete for my viewing by writing in a manner that doesn't offend or completely turn me off is a great idea. Let me block news outlets I do not want to see. Seldom is a topic so bad that I would block it (topic filtering is all you have right now) but news source slanting is so obvious and one sided sometimes I want to stop seeing It on my page.

what do you mean ALL of those lying conservative rags removed? There are only a few compared to dozens of loonie tune sites catering to far leftist idiots like you. I say remove them ALL and use mainstream news...of course whether you like it or not Fox and MSNBC are both legitimate sites. People can watch what they want. Don't like it? Move out from mommies basement and get a fikin job.

Agree, would love to see Fox "News" and Breitbart and all those ridiculous lying conservative rags removed from the main page permanently.

Been looking for this option for a while now. Sick and tired of all the Huff Po and other crazy liberal opinion outlets that are forced into my "news" feed by default. If you can't allow users to configure it, at least balance it out if you're going to push this nonsense onto everybody's feed. I'm increasingly less inclined to visit Yahoo because of this and instead just going and finding the content I'm actually interested in.

Yeah it'd be awesome if we can cut of the liars and junk science providers. If I want watch that __uff there's an underwatched TV/webpage that has the 24/7. It doesn't need even more exposure.
