    Yahoo Mail offers a 7-day restore timeframe for emails. Regardless of how old an email is, if it was deleted within the past 7 days, there’s a chance it can be recovered.

    Contacts typically have a 30-day restoration window. If you need help restoring Calendar events, reach out to us through our Help pages or our Forums:

  2. Return My past/present e-mails

    I have tried several times to do this. I still do not have e-mail of any kind. At one point I was told that I now use g-mail. Well.... I have never used g-mail and will not use g-mail. I do not care who you have signed up with just return my past/present/future e-mail. I am now going to a friend and sign into the type of e-mail they use as they do not seem to have a problem with it. Glad to no longer be using you. Good Bye. Hope they can get my mail from you.

  5. It is extremely frustrating to be regularly locked out of email for an hour. This is because I use "In Private" browsing when opening emails

    I already use 2 factor authentication and I'm regularly asked to "prove I'm not a robot" so that should be plenty of security. Very frustrating Yahoo Mail! I have had to resort to "In Private" browsing, because attachments often fail to load to me email in normal browsing. Here's hoping Yahoo Mail will sort out this problem before I decide to move email provider. Furthermore, it seems to be impossible to contact a customer service person to talk about resolving this issue AND when I try to log it online, it keeps looping me back to the front screen so…

  6. It would be nice if the spam filtering system would only filter spam

    It would be nice if the spam filtering system would only filter spam those messages that you mark as spam and not anything other idiots are marking as spam requiring you to periodically go to your spam folder and mark them as NOT spam.

  7. I'd like to remove this down arrow in the circle on the bottom right which takes you to the next email, it blocks what I'm trying to read

    this down arrow in a circle on the bottom right of the email blocks part of the email I'm trying to read. The arrow takes you to the next email and it is on that one also. how do I remove it?

  9. It took 3 weeks to block 1000 unwanted spam emails. 3 weeks? For a private party?

    Filter ALL of the obvious fraudulent spam emails. Simple. If the brand in the subject doesn't match the address; KILL IT.

  10. The new font is way too small and makes reading my inbox a pain. If we can't change the default font, I'm changing email providers.

    If Yahoo doesn't add an option to change the default font settings of the inbox, I'm going to change email providers because the new font is way too small and completely destroys the usability of a website where 99% of the actions are reading.

  11. Why do most of my emails go directly to my TRASH folder instead of my inbox?

    99% of my new emails goi directly to my Trash folder instead of to my inbox. What the **** is use is an email program that does that?

    If you are not receiving messages or you notice your emails are going to Trash you may want to check your filters. Check out https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN15994.html for info on how to check your filters. If you did not set any filters, but they are present, you may want to secure your account

  14. I read and delete emails on my phone using the app. When I look at the email on the computer, the emails are still unread and not deleted.Y?

    Yahoo makes it very hard to use the email. When you are going through it on the phone using the Yahoo email app, reading and deleting it, there's no sync on the same email when you use the computer. It's a long chore to redo the same thing and read and delete emails a second time. Fix this problem!

    Sometimes when a mailbox behaves like this it’s because of another program or app the account is being accessed from.

    Syncing issues between the account and a mail app can cause emails to be moved around oddly. If you access the account through a mobile device or app, you may want to remove the account from the device and re-add it to resolve any syncing issues in the future.

    Hi there,

    You should be able to access any mail you have not deleted, regardless of the date from an active mailbox. To access your oldest mail, click on “Sort” on the top left of the message list and select “oldest to newest”

  17. I have a big problem with the "New and improved" yahoo mail. I can send and recieve my emails without a problem, but if I want to send an em

    If the timestamps on emails are off on the web, you can make sure you’ve selected the right timezone in the Settings menu and verify that your computer’s clock is correct.

  20. Embedded pictures in my emails stopped showing. Up until a couple days ago, they showed and I haven't made any changes to my system.

    All the embedded pictures in my email do not show. Until a couple days ago, they worked. There have been no changes to our system, and my husband's Google email works, but he has the same problem with his Yahoo email.
