  2. Downloading an attachment

    When downloading an attachment, Yahoo scans to be sure it's safe. But as soon as the scan is complete, the download disappears. Please stop the auto disappear/minimize/whatever it's doing. The download does NOT go into my desktop download folder.

  3. Too **** difficult to open

    You have made the product too damned difficult. Give me back the right to open my email from my favorites bar when I start my computer. I don't need to verify the number of busses or hydrants or have a number sent to my phone. What a crock of "stuff" you have created. Give me back my Yahoo.

If there's something unusual about your sign in or recent activity, we'll ask you to go through another verification step after you've entered the correct password. This is an important security feature that helps to protect your account from unauthorized access. You may be prompted to get a verification code on your Yahoo app, recovery phone number, or recovery email address for any of the following reasons:

    • Yahoo notices suspicious account activity.
    • You're using an unfamiliar browser or device.
    • You're traveling away from your usual location.
    • You sign in while using a VPN or a proxy server.
    • You've logged in with a private or incognito window.
    • There are many attempts to sign in with incorrect passwords.
    • The "First time signing in from this device" message appears.
    • You've cleared your browser history or data cache including cookies.
  4. unusual activity

    I keep receiving "We've noticed some unusual activity ..." notices from Yahoo Mail, along with a button to send a verification code to another e-mail account. There is no clarification of exactly what this "unusual activity" is or what I should do to stop it, but it seems to happen when I receive more than two or three messages. THIS NEEDS TO STOP! Either change your settings or tell me explicitly what the "unusual activity" is so I can change my account settings. I'm sick and tired of having to re-open my other e-mail account to get a verification code…

  5. Yahoo mail freezes in safari desktop browser.

    Not sure what updates were done, but yahoo mail using safari browser was never a problem until a few months ago. It works fine in Chrome browser but not sure why the page becomes non responsive. Safari 16.5.2 on Mac OS Ventura 13.4.1 (c). Please take a look!

    I cannot sync Outlook email. When I tried, I received an error message and a prompt to sign in.

  8. "No Internet Connection" message. Can't delete emails.

    E-mail page comes up...even the videos run. But when I try and delete emails, I get the pop-up message "No Internet Connection"...but I clearly have a good connection since every other site works fine. Plus. your mail function worked fine on my phone during this time. Please fix this.

    It can be frustrating when websites don't work the way they're supposed to. If you're unable to access a Yahoo website, but others load just fine, you may be experiencing a DNS issue.

    What is a DNS?

    DNS stands for "Domain Name System." It's a necessary part of accessing the internet. When you type the name of a URL into your browser bar, a DNS will translate that address into a numerical IP to connect you to the intended site.

    How do I resolve a DNS error?

    Try accessing the website on another browser or device. If this resolves the issue, you'll just need to make sure your preferred browser is supported and updated to the latest version.

    Try accessing the website from another internet connection. For example, if you've been trying to reach the site on your Wi-Fi connection, switch to cellular data on a smartphone.

    Recently you may have noticed an increase in email going to the Spam folder for senders using Office 365 and other Microsoft products. We are in the process of addressing this issue and expect it to improve over the next several days. Please keep marking the mail in the Spam folder as “not spam” or “ham” and that will help to correct the issue. Thanks for your patience.

    The preview feature no longer works - so I now have to download each attachment now? You have truly shot yourself in the foot Yahoo - please fix the preview pane if you don't change anything else in this new awful website.The classic worked so much better and was a pleasure.

  16. Yahoo Mail Pro - Do you want my money?

    I have tried three different browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) and have attempted to purchase Yahoo Mail Pro with both a credit card (error: sorry, your transaction cannot be completed) and PayPal (it just cycles back to the first screen). I had a YMP account but was not being billed anything and still being served inline mail ads. I canceled that account and tried to set up another account so that I can PAY you for the year in advance. Now ads are everywhere and you will not take my money. TAKE IT and please get rid of the ads. I…

    Please go to Settings-More Settings-Vacation response and then toggle on the option to be able to set a vacation response.

  18. I want a faster way of delting all emails! I curently have over 21000. emails ive tried to delete for last 2 years! STUPID!!

    Please make a tab that deletes all emails at once!!! Im sick of sitting here for hours deleting emails just to go back and see they are all still there!! Its making me hate YAHOO!!!

    Too slow. I forgot the password to a site I hadn't used in a while. They sent an email with a link to reset the password. It didn't show up in my inbox so I had them send another link. Both shoed up in my inbox a day later. I can't believe you have the balls to ask people to pay for a pro version of this. At this point I keep Yahoo just for junk mail. I know anytime I create an account somewhere I'm going to get bombarded with junk mail. I keep Yahoo mail just for that.…

  20. Copying pictures onto email text

    With just 4 days to go I still can't copy and paste pictures onto my emails. It does it when you prepare the mail but then sends with no picture or a tiny attachment at the bottom. Useless! No problem with old style mail. Use for work so am now forced to open email account somewhere else. Thanks Yahoo. Been with you since 1996 with no problems. "If it ain't broke, why fix it?
