unusual activity
I keep receiving "We've noticed some unusual activity ..." notices from Yahoo Mail, along with a button to send a verification code to another e-mail account. There is no clarification of exactly what this "unusual activity" is or what I should do to stop it, but it seems to happen when I receive more than two or three messages. THIS NEEDS TO STOP! Either change your settings or tell me explicitly what the "unusual activity" is so I can change my account settings. I'm sick and tired of having to re-open my other e-mail account to get a verification code to access my Yahoo! account. Having a Yahoo! e-mail account is becoming an inconvenience, and I have enough of that in my life already. I don't need Yahoo!. I have other options for e-mail. Fix this issue immediately! If I receive the "unusual activity" message one more time, I'll use the verification code to close my e-mail account and never visit the Yahoo! website again. One less set of eyes on your already dying site. Is that what you really want?

We unfortunately do not have the tools to help with account or sign-in issues. Very sorry! This area is only for bugs/suggestions in the product itself. We recommend contacting our Customer Care team at help.yahoo.com. Thanks!

I totally agree. It doesn't matter if I receive any emails at all, I get asked to send a verification code every single time I log on. It's stupid!

August 26/23: I use my other Yahoo accounts to receive verification codes since I don't have a cell phone to receive texts.. But last night a;l three accounts demanded said code, so I couldn't sign into any of them to fetch the code., This is nuts! And there seems to be no way to contact Yahoo for help. I don't know what to do!
