  1. Remove 2 step verification if customer has requested removal

    Remove 2 step verification code. I dont have international roaming on my phone for overseas - can't access my emails. Terrible service!

    I no longer can control my information. You got rid of passwords years ago and now brought them back. None of my emails were answered.

    Yahoo is like talking to a robot. Only interested in paying customers for a simple enquiry.

    I think you'll be attracting more scammers by introducing phone verification. Lots of scams are now via the phone.

    Put the block sender back on the three black dots tab, your settings wheel to block senders does not work

  3. wrong name tok over my email account and theres no way to change it

    why is there no way to change account info when its wrong and why cant i change the birthdate listed???? i hate yahoo and aol so much you are so evil

    Hi. For security reasons, it isn't possible to update or change the date of birth listed on your Yahoo account, even if you entered it incorrectly when you first registered your account. You'll need to open a new account if you'd like your account to reflect your accurate info.


    If you got married, changed your name, or just want to reinvent yourself you can easily do it in Yahoo Mail by changing your sending name, that is displayed to your recipients when they receive an email from you.


    1. Sign in to Yahoo Mail.
    2. Click the Settings menu icon | More Settings .
    3. Click Mailboxes.
    4. Select the account you want to edit.
    5. Click under 'Your name' to delete or edit your sending name.
    6. Click Save.


    If you wish to change your profile name, sign in to the Account info page, click on the Personal Info tab, then click on ''Update…

  4. remove phone from unrecognized accounts

    Allow me to find all email accounts associated with my phone number. I have 4 I believe but can't create another one even though the limit is supposed to be 10. Any account I don't have/recognize should NOT have my number and I should be able to remove my number from accounts that may be associated with my number.

  5. Why is this UI in Italian? I need it in English. Where is the language setting?

    Why is Yahoo still imposing the temporary geolocation-determined (often wrong) language upon users? Is there really no setting for Language, or it is just well hidden?

  6. Spam from the same domain name

    I keep receiving spams from the same domain address.
    xyzabcqsdfgh@xx.onmicrosoft.com

    I select block senders > delete all exciting and all future emails.

    Then I receive :
    rxwiwafcsvhz@yy.onmicrosoft.com

    And this keep happening.

    Is it really this complicated to resolve these spam problems?
    I am a developer if you need help I can help you with your code for free.

    Elsewhere I would appreciate if you could help us with this matter please.

  7. birthdays

    Allow users to change their birthdays. My account was made for me by my mom when i was 10, obviously she used a random birthday so i could have an email. And i know this is the same for many others. Allow users to change their birthday at least once, or with proof of id so we can have the right birthdays!!

    Please try to replicate this issue on a different browser. If it only affects Chrome, our best suggestion would be to contact Google support.

  14. A Quarter of a century I've had this email and I feel abused

    Here's my idea.....just because I don't pay for this email and protect my computer with VPN doesn't mean you should abuse me by dancing 10 to 12 CAPTCHAs past me and still want a code sent to my phone. When I got this account NO ONE paid for email! This is a form of bullying, aggressively attempting to force folks into a pay for email. I doubt I'm alone in this concern.

    I have been with yahoo mail for decades, 30-40 years. I now need a one time verification code every time to log on. Are strong passwords no longer required? This means I have to sign in to another email provider, very secure and does not require a OVC, to get it. I don't pocess a 'phone.

    Is there a setting in mail that I can use to automatically forward incoming mail to my other provider? I will be closing my yahoo account over the next short while and would like to not lose any of my contacts. Yes, I know…

  17. Why am I forced to use my phone to unlock my account when using my personal PC

    Why am I forced to use my phone to unlock my account when using my personal PC even when the keep me signed in box is checked? Never in all the years of using this service have I ever had to do this. In the last 3 months I have had to do this everyday (sometimes multiple times in one day). How do I fix this?

  19. Need to improve blocking of domains

    I get a few emails from someone@msn.com, which is ok.

    Lately, I have been getting some spam emails from xxxxx@yyyy.msn.com. Often, the yyyy is in the form of a random numeric or alphanumeric long string.

    But, the Settings only allow blocking of complete email addresses, without wildcards or simple domains, without wildcards.

    I would like to be able to block .msn.com domains and/or *@.msn.com emails, for example.

    You can turn off notifications in Yahoo Mail. 

    Click the Settings icon | click More Settings .

    1. Click Notifications.
    2. Toggle Desktop notifications OFF
