  1. Keep my email data and account SAFE from Yahoo Inc

    After being in hospital I come back to my email and YAHOO has deleted ALL my emails, folders, contacts, ALL OF IT, GONE. There are help pages so they obviously do this to lots of users. I had my account for donkey's years, I lost so much data, precious emails from friends who are now dead, important emails and even emails that had a monetary value. I have asked Yahoo to restore my data and got an email saying it was done but IT IS ALL GONE. I did not get a message on my backup email account that is…

  2. Cannot sort by starred as of late February 2025

    A recent update (just prior to Feb 21, 2025) to Yahoo! Mail has removed the ability to sort by "starred". There is now a "filter" by "starred", but it does not function the same, in that it does not show recently-arrived emails to the inbox. I use starred emails as an indicator for important items that need attention or continual attention. It would be nice if the ability to sort by starred would be returned to Yahoo! Mail functionality.

    You broke something in desktop mail.

    After the initial message sent to or received from someone, bits and pieces of replies in the same string end up subsequently being greyed out in very faint, light grey font, to the point where the text is not even readable.

    To fix this, I have to keep selecting all prior messages, and changing the font back to black.

    I believe it is sometimes - but not always - related to when a cut/copy/paste has occurred.

    What have you guys done? This isn't a design suggestion. It's trying to get proper, basic functionality back.

  6. yahoo sucks

    why would I ever pay yahoo any money. about 12 years ago, suddenly about 1/5th of all my outgoing emails were not going out. I did everything possible to get help, without ANY help. Even wrote to the CEO without any reply. Unfortunately I pay Yahoo for my domain which I'll finally get off my butt and figure out how to transfer to another organization that has some sense of responsibility. clear enough?

  8. Not seeing responses or likes to my comments.

    I have checked my filters and all other settings that have not changed, but I am not receiving a response to comments in my mailbox.
    I can see them in the comment section, but not directed into my mail.
    Something has changed, but I don't believe it's on my end.

    The options on the help site are very restrictive. It is hard to give appropriate feedback when the options are so specific. There should be a section for "other" help requests that don't fit a specific category.

  10. Removed stock information. why because did not buy upgrade $$$ per month?

    Ater thirty years with Yahoo this the first time I wished to speak to a representative no way to do so and at help I was asked to pay $4.99 p/Month for Stock page. To say I am disappointed and discussed would be an understatement! My reason wanting to speak to a representative Financial section: For years I have listed my stocks and all the pertinent information pursuant to each stock. Of late appearing a request I purchase an upgraded system per stocks. I do not need nor want. The solicitation page will not let me proceed unless I agree…

  11. Use of DNS SEC servers

    It seems that yahoo has started to use its own dns sec servers, which are not acceptable for e.g. the IT environment at my work place. Why is that and is their anything I can do in order to access my private yahoo e-mail from work?

    Leider bietet Yahoo Mail derzeit keine direkte Möglichkeit, Spalten innerhalb der E-Mail-Ansicht zu verschieben oder neu anzuordnen. Yahoo Mail hat eine festgelegte Struktur für die Spalten, die nicht geändert werden kann.

  15. Unable to attach cdr file extensions in yahoo mail app In IOS devices

    In IOS devices yahoo mail app is not attaching the CDR file format i.e Coreldraw files due to which work is suffering alot receiver is not receiving the coreldraw files its only happening in the Iphone yahoo mail app you’re requested to kindly fix the bug asap

  20. Emails that are opened should no longer be in bold as "unread".

    This is less a new idea and really a bug.
    1. Open an email
    2. Go back to inbox
    3. Opened email should no longer be bold as it is "read" not "unread"
    4. Requiring manually marking it as read
    5. Labor intensive, negative production and process hit
