Ads/coupons/deals on top of email takes too much space! Can't see the actual email in one view as before. Requires too much scrolling! And the "deals" are worthless info that I will never click on. It takes up half the first view! You waste a lot of people's time this way. You could've at least made those things smaller, too much blank useless Spaces hides the actual email!
The worst of these are on emails from Amazon. Please fix this!!! Don't waste peoples time and space!!!! -

I did reach out to Yahoo support and they said this:
I appreciate the screenshot you've sent in order for us to determine the cause of the issue. Unfortunately, what you're looking for isn't possible in the current version of the product.
I can see how that'd be useful, though. You should post your suggestion to add that function on our feedback forum. Our product teams review the posts and look for ideas to include in future releases.

I fully agree with:
"Today" and "Yesterday" - WASTED SPACE. I can figure out the date, SINCE ITS ALREADY SHOWN on the right margin. So you make me change the "Sort" to "Unread" every single time I open Yahoo Mail to get rid of the useless "Today" and "Yesterday" separators that I don't want.

So frustrated. Angry! FORCED to switch today... Yahoo is SO unresponsive. It is infuriating to see the FLOOD of complaints for the SAME ISSUES - going back TWO YEARS!!! OMG how long do you need to take to "gather" feedback??
So much wasted space. All over the entire UI. And no way to increase density to the needed level, and no way to turn off the unnecessary, unwanted, useless stuff.
1. Compose button - WASTED SPACE. Move.
2. Header banner - WASTED SPACE. Would be fine at HALF its current height.
3. Three dots - WASTED SPACE above and below. Not even sure I NEED the divider!
4. Spacing between Inbox Folders - WASTED SPACE above and below and no way to increase density!
5. " ^ Less" - WASTED SPACE. I don't EVERY want to show "less" folders!
6. Views Show - WASTED SPACE. Useless feature I don't want that just takes up space.
7. Folders Hide - WASTED SPACE. I would MUCH rather see an add'l couple of my folders, rather than seeing the fact that these are my folders.
8. + New Folder - WASTED SPACE. I would MUCH rather see my folders than this "button", which could easily be moved elsewhere and certainly resized to like a quarter of its current width.
10. Mailbox List - WASTED SPACE because the font is SET and cannot be changed -

Get rid of the dividing sections in the mail list (Today, Yesterday, etc.) or make them optional. I don't need them and they take up valuable space on a small screen.

Very TOO Much.
And it is fixed form, rather than adjusting when we change window size.
No one I see has full screen windows on applications. -

Cannot personalize the colors and fonts. I hate the off grey of the sidebars. With bad eyes I need to be able to change titles to BOLD for ease of recognition.

The headers are so wide, with lots of empty space, that the 3" of space taken up added to the 1 3/8" depth of my normal tabs header leaves only 5" of viewing area at the bottom of my monitor for reading mail. Very uncomfortable. I'm a graphics designer and you could recover at least an inch top-to-bottom without sacrificing readablilty. I'm afraid I'm not impressed with the overall redesign. ******* the eyes.

The spacing on written text is too wide. How do I reduce it?

Too much white. It almost blinds me. I prefer MUCH less white and more other colors as it is more soothing for the eyes. I plan to switch to a different email provider because of this!

There is too much space at the top of the screen in the yahoo header and the 'today' banner... it pushes the mail down the screen so there are less emails on view. The screen already loses too much space to ads.

Real estate hog with built-in waste - give me control back of width and white space. Remove Views as Erin states. Give me more folder name either with deleting the empty space left or right. If you can't/won't do that, let me control left column width. duh! Let me remove folders I don't want (so i can see and access the ones I use!, such as archive, unread, starred ... and on those rare and wonderful times I want to look into trash or spam, give me a way to find them THEN not every time I use Yahoo. Folder names don't need to be double spaced ... I have better things to do than scroll. Thank you for your consideration.

I need to download all my historical messages and get out of this f* platform. How can you expect people to stay when you keep copying gmail and then reduce the visible mail to like 5 or 6 at a time with view of the body of email at the bottom. Crazy!
Can you take the compensation back from Mayer and kick her back to Google?

Also, please remove "Views" in the left section.

Please remove the banner and allow the reading pane to decrease.
