This version is horrible! When I try to reply to an email, the screen jumps back to the top of the original email while I am typing...really? Wth? This is just awful. There was nothing wrong the previous version. PLEASE give it back so I can reply to my email without having to type my response in Word, then cut & paste into a reply! Ridiculous....

About 18 months later and they have done NOTHING, even though they have thousands of complaints. Instead of retiring"old versions", maybe these IDIOTS WHO MAKE THIS HORRIBLE DECISIONS SHOULD RETIRE!!!!!

How 'bout.... you allow users TO GO BACK TO THE VASTLY SUPERIOR OLD, CLASSIC, BASIC YAHOO MAIL? This is not a case of Luddites disliking change. THIS IS PEOPLE, MANY MANY PEOPLE, LOATHING THE INFERIOR, HORRIBLE, GLITCHY, TEN-STEPS-DOWN MUCKUP THAT YOU HAVE FOISTED UPON US. New Yahoo email ****. I can list scads of ways that the 'New', depraved— oh, 'scuse me, you call it 'improved', that's a laugh— Yahoo mail is GLITCHY AND GOES BACKWARDS IN QUALITY, ERGONOMIC USABILITY AND SPEED. It's horrible. What is wrong with you?

Seems like 19502 people are willing to take the time to say how much they hate the new format. It's hard to read, not easy on the eyes. I'm sure there are thousands more who don't like it but don't take the time to give feedback.
Now, if only Yahoo will read it and give the option to change back to classic mail.

i HATE the layouts,.the themes, the ads (in all the wrong places), the search capability - EVERYTHING! Please for the love of God stop making changes. if someone at YAHOO needs a job that badly find something else for them to do!! I liked the version 2 versions ago and even the last version was acceptable but this one - I HATE IT!!! -

I've been fighting against this for so long.... against losing Classic Mail.
The "change for change's sake" customer-haters are going to continue to treat us like children and try and dictate what we like until...
It's just sad that there are so many similar services that are doing just the same thing.

I agree with all comments made to date. I am trying to run a business and this is nothing short of a headache. Who in Gods name thought this was a good idea, and no choice. I believe those involved should look for new employment.

I agree. you forced me to change, yet, this new format is so crazy. I click one email and it jumps every time I select one, it will jump several pages. Therefore I am wasting SO MUCH TIME scrolling up or down over and over and over. this is crazy ridiculous! it's faster on my phone now than the **** computer! SMH can you PLEASE GO BACK??? I don't have time to waste like this...IJS OR FIX THIS ONE to be like the old one. I have never had an email jump like this...and OMG don't get me started on all the adds in the middle of the page, to the right and left now? I have like an inch to see an email now because there is 2-3 inches of an add in the middle of the page! and you can't even click ANYWHERE to temp close it. at least the one on the right you can temp close it...but I need room in the middle of the page to READ the emails... Seriously just want to check mail, not see adds everywhere, to the point I can't even read an email...smh

I agree with all the comments I have read in this thread. The previous interface of Yahoo Mail was just about perfect - clear, did everything I wanted of it easily, and looked better. It really, really didn't need "upgrading". A particular bad feature is the loss of a direct button to open one's Contacts - something I've complained about in the past regarding the mobile App. I can understand that you may have to upgrade the software the system runs on, but why need that impact the interface design and functionality?
Going forward, whatever you do, don't get more like Googlemail! Their interface is horrendous!
