I was complaining that the new basic has left out some of the old features. When I clicked on the "update to new Yahoo email" (or something like that) it looks a bit different on your main page, but from what I can find, everything else is still there. The only difference is that the icons for "contacts", "calendar", and "notepad" are now on the right just below your name and "home" icon. So far, it all looks the same to me. You might try it to see if it gives you all you were looking for that was in the old classic/basic Yahoo. Hope this helps!

The new Yahoo Mail is absolutely rubbish. Give us a link to revert back to Classic.
I was in the middle of organising all my folders. Under the new Yahoo there is NO OPTION to move a folder now.
Full folder names have been shortened and one cannot view full names.
Cannot now find how to edit signature.
No option to save a new incoming email to contacts.
Why cannot Yahoo leave things alone when everything is working. Why get rid of many sensible options.
Not everyone on this planet is a geek who knows how to use modern software. Yahoo have to think of disabled people. I am Autistic and any change is a real nightmare.

No need for a brand new look. We liked the one you have just took. Please give us back our good old mail. Or we might have to just set sail.

Doesn't the fact that some users don't like the new format count at all? I hate the new format. I want a choice.

I'm not the good with changes that are too complicated...there are now things I cannot do easily like printing pictures from photos I get by e-mail...I could do it easily before...I want the old system back that was not changed too long ago....

Laptop was dead this morning after my "upgrade" to the mailbox. Consistently taking 10% of CPU. How is this an upgrade? Too many ads. I want the old mail format back please.

I use yahoo as my business email. I send and receive dozens of emails each day. This new format is terrible. I know that if you respond, it will be the same pre-written nonsense, so don't bother. I am so disappointed in Yahoo.

Last night, somehow, I found myself back in my favored, old-format Yahoo. I thought you'd come to your sense, but this morning, the disgusting new format was back. So you CAN return us to the old format, you just refuse to do so. Thought so.

Agree......updates and changes make everything "busier" makes it harder to focus....more distractions. Major issue with life/internet.......simplify....less is more!

On 5/23/2019 after Yahoo took away my email CLASSIC for this new and unimproved new format email my Calendar would not load because of an error. After further investigation found that the Notepad has the same error. What I get is
“We're experiencing some technical difficulties...
We’re sorry, but Yahoo Mail can't load due to a temporary error. You can try back again shortly, or visit our help pages for ways to troubleshoot the issue.
• Try again
• Visit Help for troubleshooting instructions
Temporary error: 500”I clicked on “Try again” and “Visit Help for troubleshooting instructions” and end up each going to the “We're experiencing some technical difficulties...” page again and again and again. What is Yahoo’s definition of Temporary error? Well it’s not a day so is it a week a month a year!
Give me back the CLASSIC email or I’ll send this every day until I find a new email service that fits my needs as this new email format doesn’t or I don’t have internet access.
