    PLEASE GIVE ME BACK THE OLD FORMAT. I hate the new format. I hate background colors and I am having trouble reading all my email on a half a screen. I tried dragging the arrow down but after half way it will not go any further. Thank you.

    18653 (counting, and now plus 1) users have replied to this thread and told you their opinion about the new format. Will you please listen to your users?

    You can retain the new version as you need to "unfortunately retire support for older versions", but at least change the GUI to what it was as per the Classic version.

    This new one is hideous. And for what my little opinion counts, fire your GUI designing programming head and censure the entire team that upgraded this GUI design! They totally messed up a functional, beautiful product.

    Please get this.. 18650+ of your users DO NOT want garish hideous colored side-bars and shiny, in-your-face settings as bells & whistles. We just want the email list space to be the focus, not the accompaniments.

    KEEP IT SIMPLE. PLEASE.

    You have forced the new Yahoo on me. It is much slower than Classic. It is not showing the full message when I open the emails. It just locks up for no reason.

    Whether I use Chrome, Firefox, or Opera, the new Yahoo is pathetic,

    Please give me a way to go back to Classic,

    Otherwise, I am going to gmail,

    I am quite tired I yahoo trying to force upgrades. I just like the plain and simple - no frills - BASIC/CLASSIC mail. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!! not everyone wants all this colorful flashiness... in fact I find it distracting and confusing. Plain & simple is always best!

    Why do all techies try to fix what isn't broken? It's not just Yahoo Mail but almost all user sites on the web. I pay to use an automotive repair site and it was user friendly with easy to find information. Then they fixed it and the feedback I got from my representative for the service was over 50% of mechanics did not like the new version. You want to improve your New Mail? Give users the option of going back to the Old Mail.

    If it's not broke why try to fix it. The classic was better then these options you are giving. These new images are ******* the eyes.
