I was comfortable with the delete button where it was.
I kind of agree with Thomas Knoth because the popups repeat...repeat...repeat...

New format is too busy, plus I like seeing the number of spam messages I have.

Since I use the new surface I have two serious problems:
1. In the trash directory a multideleted letter of mine appears every day. Despite of being deleted one week earlier from the trash directory too.
2. Anytime I start to type in a text, after a couple of letters (cca. 20 of them), the cursor jumps to the beginning of the line.
It is very sad!

Look, I don't mind the "new" mail (not counting the bs way you've dealt with bookmarks), but every time it loads, in a few nanoseconds, it drops the top one or two emails, even when you reload right away to retrieve them. I reported it, but it continues to happen. It's not "new mail," it's a GLITCH, and FIXING IT would be YOUR TECHNICAL ISSUE.
