How can we improve New Mail?

Tried following your instructions to switch back to classic mail, as another respondant said: your instruction do NOT work.

Drop this new email version. It is sluggish, cumbersome, and many of the features from the Classic Mail don't work with the new email. A,so: under Settings there is no category to return to Classic Mail. Very disappointed in your lack of testing of the new email and for your poor customer service.

Please be sure you click on the settings wheel in Mail, not in Help. We have found that some users are trying to make the change to switchback to classic Mail in help.yahoo.com rather than in Mail.yahoo.com. You will not find the option to switchback in Help. You will find it in Mail.

    Your directions and "help" do NOT work!!!!!! Can't get to classic email and I need to do this yesterday!!!!!!! Many messages are there but, after signing in, I can't open my mail. Some of the mail I need to open is BUSINESS ORIENTED and not being able to open my mail can cost $$$$. I need to get back to classic email YESTERDAY -- no more delays!!!!. Do Something!!!!!

    Your instructions do not work. There are no options or choices given to return to "CLASSIC MAIL" Please advise on how to return to classic mail. Thank You

    This new format is awful, and none of your instructions to switch it back work. Please restore my account to the previous settings.

    i agree ii have been yahoo since the start i am going to switch everything to my google mail if this isnt switched back to old format soon

    put everybody back to old email. whomever idea was with the new email should be fired..its slow its terrible an your instructions to return to old email does not work

    The instructions say that there is an option to switch back to classic but that option does not exist. IT DOES NOT WORK!

    My contacts are all messed up. When I used an ampersand (&) in a business title, yahoo's contacts multiplied that contact info at least 50 times so that I have 50 & symbols and the title is 10 inches long if I click on it on my desktop. Whats the problem. Its the Yahoo contacts that are all wrong. Even if I delete the incorrect ones, they keep coming back . Help I dont know what to do to straighten out my account.

    I agree with the comments made regarding the new format of Yahoo Mail. I do not llike it at all and want to switch back to the classic version myself.

    I've been using Yahoo for about 15 years .. and you've benefited from my seeing ads on every visit .. your new email format is simply d y s f u n c t i o n a l

    I'm about to leave ... unless I can access the old email format

    this is verizon for us.you know why i got rid of there cell service. where is the classic i never asked for this new form. can't find my old stuff anymore

    make returning to classic email possible. it is frustrating to spend so much time for incorrect instructions to return to classic email.

    I tried to get back to classic mail also, and nothing worked. I clicked the part they told me to but there was nothing there about switching back to classic mail. Why don't you want us to have this, seeing as there are a lot of people that find it much better and easier to use. I do hope you are reading this!

    I agree completely. I lost two emails when I tried to switch back. This email is an embarrassment. It hardly ever works properly. Leave it alone. Lots of us like using a second class system!!

    FULLY AGREE! SHOULD GIVE US TO OPTION TO ACCEPT OR NOT THE CHANGE. i HAVE NOT FOUND HOW TO GO BACK TO THE CLASSIC MAIL.
