How can we improve New Mail?

i am uncomfortable with my phone number being attached to my account. please make this optional

just as I said. make the phone info optional because in this day and age any information on the internet is there for literally everyone to see and id rather just not have my phone on there

    I don't want to give you my phone number. It will not make my account more secure. It will just give the hackers more information when you guys inevitably get hacked again. In fact, stop asking me for anything. I just want to check my e-mail. Go away.
