How can we improve New Mail?

The Page rendered when the mail app comes up is WAY TOO LARGE to work with

For some reason my entire page appears WAY TOO LARGE to make it useful to read or compose a message. I cannot even "squeeze" it smaller. If there is no remedy for this I will have to go back to prior version.
P.S. I have a Lenovo Ultrabook Tablet but have had no issues such as this before.

    I whitelisted yahoo from my adblocker as you suggested and it did not help
