Yahoo mail is so slow

Yahoo mail is so so so slow on my computer. I've been using my college email address instead (gmail) because it works so much better. However, now that I am about to graduate I have been using my yahoo email more - but it's just so frustrating how glitchy and slow it is. I really do not want to have to get an entire new email address (I would definitely use gmail if I made a new one) but if this isn't fixed soon I'm not going to have a choice.

    Your mail service is VERY SLOW. Get faster or I'll have to switch to Gmail completely.

    some pages are blank, never load, just white page. your new system DOES NOT WORK!!! i get a run around trying to get help. help is **** and extorting us to pay to fix YOUR errors is ********.

    Yahoo seems to be deteriorating more & more as time goes on. Email contacts are no longer workable. Group messages remain unsent after being approved. Messages sent to group do not appear. Group pages actually take several MINUTES to load or won't load at all. Calendar is on-again off-again. Yahoo is probably economizing, hiring the cheapest and least experienced labor and becoming the crappiest mail product available. Help is non-existent. A shame for what used to be THE go-to search engine. Melissa Mayer has left her imprint. Yahoo is now an embarrassment.

    Hi. I am suddenly having the same exact issue. I also had to revert to the Basic Mail (which I don't like, but at least it is usable). The standard email is no longer usable (despite clearing my cache and cookies, etc of Chrome). Thank you.

    Page only shows 25 emails and I have hundreds. Rest of page is blank and not showing my emails???

    Please can you do something to improve Yahoo Mail. I have had to resort to using Basic Mail again. This is because the current version of Yahoo Mail is incredibly slow to scroll through, because it uses almost 100% of my CPU Usage. Please do something about the advertisements which I believe cause this.

    yahoo has slowed down and does not open properly every time, often the sender id is missing. Congrats you have found the best way to destroy a company reputation........

    No functions work on Yahoo Mail with Chrome. I can only click on "Inbox", if I select check-box of a mail to delete or anything it opens the mail. When it opens the mail if I click on delete even that does not work. Will be going back to Google for all mail apparently

    Mail won't load, cannot send, reply, forward. Cannot delete. Cannot move to folders. Mail isn't all being received. Started yesterday afternoon and continues today. This is on pc. seems fine on phone

    I don't know what changed but it takes forever for the mail inbox to load and to delete items, and it keeps freezing alot. Please fix this is my main email and I waste tons of times trying to check my emails.

    greed and change for the sake of change will be the downfall of yahoo if you dont stop screwing around with email. If your goal is to shed customers, I say you are right on track. blue never ending circle when I go to open any email on my pc. something is seriously broken

    The new yahoo mail is very slow in Windows 7 (64 bit) or Windows 10 Home (64 bit), latest update + Google Chrome (latest update), but i have checked also whit Mozilla Firefox (latest Update), Internet Explorer (latest update), or Microsoft Edge (latest version).

    Alle same slowly problem whit yahoo mail, but not whit other mail.

    The new version of Yahoo mail is very slow and the classic mail is better.

    " Please do you return at Yahoo Classic Mail ".

    In general, the Yahoo email page is too slow; it takes several seconds to:
    1) open an email
    2) return to inbox
    3) have the check-mark appear after checking the box beside a given email (eg, to move it, delete it, etc.)

    Basic email would be nice, but it seems to no longer be available (don't see that option in Settings)
