Yahoo mail is so slow
Yahoo mail is so so so slow on my computer. I've been using my college email address instead (gmail) because it works so much better. However, now that I am about to graduate I have been using my yahoo email more - but it's just so frustrating how glitchy and slow it is. I really do not want to have to get an entire new email address (I would definitely use gmail if I made a new one) but if this isn't fixed soon I'm not going to have a choice.

Please try clearing cookies, cache, history, and footprints. To do so, please go to https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-mail-for-desktop/sln27197.html
Also, please make sure to update your browser and if the problem still persists try to access Yahoo Mail in another browser.

After I started paying for my Yahoo email, I have nothing but trouble. At night time, I'm getting nothing but the spinning wheel and I can't work on any emails. Internet connection is working but the wheel is not doing anything but spinning. I have to wait until later in the day to access my emails. This is unsustainable and of course I can't use Yahoo for work or important messages. It got really bad after I had a major clean up of my system, including removing/clearing cookies/cache etc.

For the last 2 weeks in the UAE, logging into Yahoo, loading the emails, repling to emails and doing anything else is extremely slow.
I got a message "no internet connection" which was wrong as all other functions work perfectly.
Waht is happening? -

Only In the past week or so, some emails will not load, sometimes showing a No Internet Connection message, other times just spinning forever. Both with Edge and Firefox. It is somewhat intermittent. Yesterday my Contacts list and some of the folders were completely empty but today OK. An email that would not load an hour ago now comes right up. ??? No problem on iPhone, also seems to be OK on WIndows10 at work.

When I try to access my e-mail, *(@yahoo.com, it keeps saying "can't access this page". Sometimes it lets me in, sometimes it doesn't.

My email is not working. I have to refresh the page when I open an email so I can see the email and also, I delete emails but they are not deleted after I refresh the page.

Can't see e-mail older than about 10 days! What the heck, yahoo! You decided to just put gray lines for my not-so-old e-mail and then just blank space?? Why are you blocking access to my e-mail like this??

Also, if I make the mistake of forgetting to refresh the page after I move emails to another folder and then try to download another attachment, I get a message from my browser asking me if I am sure I want to navigate away from the page I'm on (i.e., the same message I get if I'm in the middle of filling out a form and try to go to a different page).

For the last several months, Yahoo Mail hasn't been able to handle downloading attachments. If I download a photo from an email, then Yahoo can't successfully a) move the email to a different folder (it says "unable to move message to the selected folder") or b) load another attachment (either to download, or to preview) until I refresh the window. What's more, if I download an attachment and then don't refresh Yahoo mail soon enough, it will just spontaneously quit. So if I have, say, ten emails with pictures attached, I have to refresh Yahoo mail after downloading each of the ten pictures, and then yet another time before I can move all the emails to a different folder -- assuming that it doesn't just quit on its own in the middle of the whole procedure. So, to improve New Mail, you should fix this.

When trying to switch from one account to another in order to view my email to a different address, I recently got stuck on a page that says 'continue switching to' with the second account shown. Clicking 'yes' just reloads the same page and I can't login to view my email. This happened once about a week ago and I thought it was fixed, but today it happened again. This 'continue switching to' feature is completely broken and should be turned off until it has been fixed and properly tested, so that people can access their accounts. It may be feasible to bypass this screen by editing the URL parameters but normal users should not be expected or required to do that in order to use Yahoo Mail.

Recently Yahoo mail has got worse. It has been crashing, emails not sending or saving to drafts, error messages (can't do this operation at this time). If I hadf a choice I would not sign up to a yahoo mail account now. Guys, what is happening?

Yahoo has gone down the drain and is going down the drain further with each passing day. When I draft email, the contact address does NOT autofill even though the address is saved in the Contacts. Your new email sucks each time you come out with new email. Even though I am signed in, this stupid feedback thing does NOT allow me to vote or mark other feedback as Important. Yahoo, who designs your applications? A 2 year old???

The issue is at the Folders section on the left. Thankfully the "Move' function does not have the same issue.

The issue I am experiencing now is that the scroll bar for folders section auto-scrolls itself. I do not even need to use the scroll bar, ALL folders auto-scroll and I have to chase after the folder I want to move the mail into. Suggest to make the scrolling static and users to scroll up and down manually, if dynamic scrolling is making moving mails so challenging.

not only has spam filtering not been working for, what, two months now, but the website for yahoo mail is so erratic one will open spam (THE LAST THING YOU WANT TO DO!) when you try to flag it as spam.
when you try to close the window, the website doesn't even respond.
one has to close the whole browser to do so.
i don't care what your excuse is, i have reported this problem repeatedly for weeks now.
others have too.
if you cannot be bothered to fix that issue, at least give us the option not to open images automatically or to run any javascript in e-mails.
your site is becoming a security liability and i will have to close my account after roughly two decades if this problem is not fixed. -
