How can we improve New Mail?

How do I get rid of hyperlink previews in the new (and much-hated) mailbox? Is it even an option, or are we forced to clutter up their emails even worse than they are now?

    The option is there, but it doesnt turn off the preview. Yahoo email just keeps getting worse.
