Why did you get rid of the simple manner in which spam email can be blocked? All I get thru yahoo email is constant loads of spam in the spam folder, which I have to delete. The spam is from the same email addresses all the time. the simple block function worked, yet yahoo eliminated it. You getting paid by spammers now?

Dear Yahoo Mail Support Team,
I am writing to report a significant and persistent increase in spam emails directed to my Yahoo Mail account. Over the past several days, I have been receiving dozens of these unsolicited emails daily, primarily in my spam folder.
These emails consistently share several characteristics that strongly indicate they are part of a coordinated spam campaign. I am providing this information in the hope that it will assist your team in enhancing your spam filters and blocking these malicious communications more effectively.
Consistent Characteristics of the Spam Emails:Originating IP Addresses and Service Provider:
All identified spam emails originate from a specific range of IP addresses: 8.219.26.7X (e.g., 8.219.26.72, 8.219.26.73, 8.219.26.75).
The associated hostnames consistently point to out26-7X.sg.a.dm.aliyun.com.
This indicates that the spam is being sent via servers belonging to Aliyun (Alibaba Cloud), a major cloud service provider. This suggests a single, organized group of spammers is abusing their services.Sender and Domain Rotation:
The emails use various "personal" sender names (e.g., Josie, Megan, Sandra, Tara) and different, often suggestive, domain names (e.g., thecreativequadrant.com, hookpedia.com, foxysociety.com, societymatch.com). These domains appear to be used for short periods or rotated frequently to evade detection.Authentication Bypass:
Despite being spam, these emails consistently show Received-SPF: pass, dkim=pass, and dmarc=pass(p=QUARANTINE) in their headers. This advanced setup allows them to technically pass authentication checks, which might be why some occasionally bypass initial spam filters and reach the inbox.Content and Purpose:
The subject lines are consistently sexually suggestive or highly enticing (e.g., "The pictures from my bikini shoot are finally up!", "Photos attached", "I'm hot & single. Send me a text", "She's very VERY attractive").
The body of the emails contains explicitly suggestive messages and calls to action, urging me to click on links to view "photos" or "profiles" or to "reply."
All links within the emails follow a similar structure, typically leading to subdomains of the sender's domain followed by /ga/click/... (e.g., https://o4z.thecreativequadrant.com/ga/click/...). These are likely tracking and redirection links.Tracking and Validation:
Every email contains a hidden tracking pixel (a small, often 1x1 pixel image), which loads when the email is opened. This confirms that my email address is active, likely leading to more spam. I have learned to avoid opening these emails and do not click on any links.Request for Action:
I kindly request that your team investigate this persistent spam issue. Given the consistent origin from Aliyun IP addresses and the specific content patterns, I believe Yahoo Mail could implement more stringent filtering rules to block these emails before they reach users' mailboxes.
Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your efforts in maintaining a secure and clean email environment.

I used to be able to block SPAM email addresses, but that option is no longer there. The amount of disgusting spam messages I get is overwhelming and I would feel a lot better about the option to block these addresses again.

Ok so paid for spam is creating a no winnable spammers harassment campaign. I can't block them, report them, nor auto spam them. Everyday i'm getting harassed by advertisements about paying an old bill that the account is in a dead parents name. I can't block them, report them for harassment all because their paying yahoo? Emails keep showing up everyday. If I can't control who is spam or not, why should I keep my email address? I've already switched to google mainly now yahoo is just trash bin for advertisements. I've had this email for over 20 years and it's sad but taking control away from the user means you don't respect us and we leave.

I should be able to block certain email addresses without having to pay for it. Such a bummer and makes me want to go through the headache of setting up a new email with a different domain name

I have blocked certain senders multiple times, only to find more e-mails from there. I can't tell if the blocking is somehow delayed or if their services are eventually terminated, but there's still something very clearly wrong with Yahoo Mail when supposedly blocked senders are still somehow allowed to send me mail.

How can you improve email? The block sender should be available. At one time it did work and then when I used it the same email would show up several times.
You want to improve email then put the block sender option back up and make it work.
