Allow users to pick a default sort method in settings.
It would be nice to be able to setup my email inbox to sort by 'Unread' and have it stay that way. How annoying that it always defaults to sort by 'Date: Newest on top' which has the added side effect of placing a useless line that announces the date of each email. Any person can see the date of each email on the right side of the listing so there is no need to take up twice as much space with a useless line that tells me what the date is or how long ago that was. I KNOW THAT ALREADY simply by looking at the date of each email.
