Have a mass delete function.
You can also have an undelete also to avoid mistakes. But something like Gmail's ability to check everything in the box and delete them all would be useful. I have used Yahoo email for decades and have many, many, many emails.

I have many, many, many thousands of old emails that I do not care about, all of them costing youse guys $$$ to keep them stored on the servers. I would delete them if there was an easy way to do that. Can you please make mass deletions easy to do?

I see a lot of suggestions for a bulk delete function. I agree, deleting messages 50 or 100 at a time is useless. Email piles up. If you could sort by sender, and then delete the entire contents of that sort, that would speed things up. Users will not delete anything if it remains as hard to do as it is currently. Yahoo has to realize that 90% of email stored on their servers is useless garbage. Give users the ability to better manage their email, and maybe Yahoo will free up 90% of your server disc space. Imagine cost savings!! And I'll only charge 5% for the idea.
