Ads should not slow down or infect the computer.
I get it, Yahoo! is free because of ads. But the ads should never slow down everything else. And Yahoo! should be responsible if ANY of their ads introduce a virus, malware or any other problem to anyone's computer. Since we have NO control over what ads Yahoo! is inflicting upon us, Yahoo! should at least take all responsibility for all ill effects caused by such ads. And it should ensure that the ads do not interfere with THEIR software and slow it down.
