filters do not work
As per the other contributors ... no matter what I enter into a filter, I continue to receive emails that contain what I said to filter and direct into the deleted folder, AND STILL THEY COME. I believe Yahoo is offering a product that does not deliver what it says it can. My understanding is that this kind of product is unlawful. It is operating under false pretences to its customers. I suspect that nothing will change or be resolved unless regulated, as trolling, confidence tricks and dishonesty are driven by greed and relate directly to the product not meeting its trading obligations. Non-compliance with user-programmed Filters is a breach of fair trade, security and privacy. I request that you allow users to filter emails that they deem to be clearly unsolicited.
