Turn OFF email address autofill/autocomplete when writing in the body of an email
Is there a setting to "Turn OFF email address autofill/autocomplete when writing in the body of an email"? As I type an email, if I use a character such as "+" in front of a name, such as...
"+Friend
Hi Wife,
<body of email>..."
Immediately when I type in "+Friend", yahoo takes the cursor out of typing the body of the email, starts searching for the closest contact to "Friend@email.com", fills in the closest match (which 100% is NOT anyone related to this email topic, thus this is a major privacy issue), and I have to return to typing the body of the email.
So.... while the 'autofill' of email addresses is a necessary function when filling out the "To:", "CC:", or "BCC:" fields, putting in email addresses into those fields should be TURNED OFF, even when typing special characters while COMPOSING THE MESSAGE".
This will definitely make me switch email providers, or stop using any related Yahoo! desktop, webmail, or mobile apps and just end up using Mac "mail" or other applications.
