3. Begin sentence with a capital

   Why can't Yahoo at least default to beginning a new sentence with a capital letter even if some of the other text formatting such as font type and size can't be controlled?

4. The new policy of 15 GB of storage is unreachable for three-decade users

   I'm writing in here after being on the phone with Customer Support and the only two solutions offered to me, the user, is going through my inbox and deleting unwanted emails manually until below the 15 GB storage limit, or joining the monthly subscription for more storage.

   As a customer 7 months away from using his Yahoo Mail continuously for 30 years, it's insulting to be expected to find a way to delete over 6 GB of emails, with over 200000 emails in my Inbox, with a couple of months notice, when the interface doesn't even let me filter for attachment size.
   Worse, when I filter for emails with attachments, most of them don't have any attachments in them, highlighting how the backend is broken and not responding to the requests we're making on the frontend.

   I kept waiting for a solution to come from Yahoo. Surely they wouldn't make us comply with a unilateral made-up limit of only 15 GB after giving me unlimited storage for decades, while the backend is broken?!

   Sadly, I'm reporting that these are technical errors that the Customer Support isn't able to do anything about, but Yahoo needs to address. It's not acceptable to not give users the ability to filter for attachments and actually only get a list of emails with attachments.

   It's also not acceptable that users don't see how large these emails are without going inside them, and checking the attachment size at the bottom of the email itself.

   In addition, it's not acceptable to not being able to confirm which email is larger, one with a lot of text, or one with a tiny attachment, in the current user interface that I'm using.

   The vast majority of emails across 30 years are basic. I have 238,511 emails in my Inbox. My used storage, is, according to Yahoo Mail, 21.1 GB. That means that 21.1 GB = 22124954 KB used; divided by 238511 means that each email is an average of 92.76 Kilobytes in size!!! It will take me a lifetime to go through them one by one, or 25 by 25 (Yahoo's unilateral size of listings offered), and delete enough to be below 15 GB of used storage!!!

   I should never have been assigned only 15 GB of storage for an account like mine. I should never have been put in a position to clear my inbox with just two months notice, when the sorting is full of errors, and I can't search for the largest emails in a sea of 238511 emails.

   I'm also unable to exclude certain conditions on the email searches, further highlighting the (poor) state of the backend of the Yahoo Mail database.

   This is grossly unfair, to target me with an outrageously unrealistic amount of storage to a customer of 30 years after decades of a Yahoo policy with unlimited storage. And then full of technical errors and limitations on top, in case this customer tries to do something about it. The result is chaotic, again due to Yahoo policy.

   Please find me a fair solution, Yahoo. I appeal to the COO Matt Sanchez, and whoever he designates as my champion, for help.

6. an option to turn off search suggestions

   I cannot seem to find where to clear searches or turn off the search suggestions. I would love to be able to control that. Every click I do in the email, the search suggestion autofills and pops up and it's driving me crazy. I simply would like to clear it permanently, I have only been able to temporarily AND an option to completely turn it off. I know what I'm searching for and will type it in myself when searching, the suggestions do not work for me.

7. I am not able to website yahoo Login or any other website yahoo login on my iPad Air 2 with latest 15.8.8 iOS

   I get a loop on my email ID or I get a blank screen for the login screen same loop issue on the recovery email screen . It doesn’t go to the password login screen .. this is on my iPad Air 2 with latest iOS 15.8.8 . I have tried both Safari and Google Chrome browsers with my website yahoo login .. Note this Login issue is NOT on app it is on Website Yahoo Login this version IPad is not able to load the yahoo app since the latest iOS is 15.8.8 just loaded ..

9. Search within folders, especially inbox

   We used to be able to sort by folders (categories, whatever you call them) I need this back. I need to search for my orders in the inbox and move them to their respective folders (that also needs to be improved like it used to be)
   In fact, today when I searched, there were zero results... it was so weird. Please fix this!

    When I signed up for Mail+, one of the key benefits was an ad-free experience across Yahoo. Since then, that benefit has disappeared, and they've even reduced the amount of inbox storage available. Yet I'm still paying for the "no ads" promise.

    So imagine my surprise when I opened my inbox and was greeted by a massive promotion for 50% off the first year of Monarch—presented as a special "perk" for Mail+ users. But let's be honest: it's an ad. And not a subtle one, either. It's huge.

    Go back to the simple and clear email screen where there are things such as compose or read or delete an email like it was 20 years ago. All I want to do is access my account from several years ago and I got so frustrated. I just quit it. I want back into my email such as Slapeman@yahoo.com.

    I can’t access it. I’ve gone through so many different layers and so many times typing in six digit security codes and backups and is this the right thing and nothing gets me to the actual email. Send receive interface. It sucks.

15. Access to receive SMS codes from Iran

    Due to government sanctions, our access to receive SMS messages in Iran has been cut off. Meanwhile, for many of us, our recovery email for receiving verification codes was also Yahoo. Now, without the ability to receive the code via SMS, we have absolutely no way to log into our accounts. Why should we have to pay the price for the government's political actions? Why should receiving SMS be restricted for ordinary people in Iran? Personally, I handled all my work through my Yahoo email, and now I cannot access my primary account. Please resolve this issue

    When blocking spam, why do I have to take the extra step to deletee from my spam folder. It used to be done automatically when blocking the spam.

17. Bug in folder display on the new design of the Yahoo app for Android

    On the new design of the Yahoo Android app introduced since yesterday (May 29th 2026), only a subset of folders are shown on the side bar by default and every time the user has to tap on the "More" option to get the full folder list. Moreover, the unread email count for each folder is no longer displayed next to the folder name, rendering folders practically useless as it is now impossible to know which folder has unread emails without checking every single one of them one by one.
