1. Make "the category system" optional. They were very useful...

   The category tabs on inbox page was very handy. But they disappeared, and I couldn't find any settings that brings them back... Wouldn't it be nice to have an option to toggle between normal, and the category system... They were very useful...

2. Disable AI summaries

   Why is it taking so long to add the ability to disable AI summaries? You've been promising this; how about delivering on the promise? That is the one feature that is driving me away from yahoo mail. For years, I've enjoyed yahoo mail and then you ruined it by forcing us into a new program that is more difficult, with worthless features such as the AI summaries. I will celebrate the day when I can finally delete my yahoo account and never have to see an AI summary of an e-mail.

5. Don't change a winning formula, i.e. the old email user interface.

   Thank you for bringing back the option to use the old Yahoo email. I don't know what happened to Yahoo. The old email user interface is awesome. It is intuitive, easy to navigate, and performs exceptionally. The new Yahoo email is one of the greatest new product disasters I have had to endure that I recall. The new Yahoo email user interface is worse than the old in every single way. I am not trying to be a jerk, just providing feedback that I would hope will help the product team. But in all seriousness, the new Yahoo email interface was inferior in every single way to the old. Not a single aspect of the new user interface was even remotely better than the old. Keep the old, it is great. Points to consider:
   1) show all folders on the left, just like the old. There is no value in having an abridged folder list on a full size monitor. All it does is add steps to moving emails, how dumb.
   2) keep the blue dot for unread. That is intuitive and easy for the eye to pick up and process. The new color scheme for unread emails is counter intuitive, requires focus for the brain to comprehend the email status and is a disaster of an idea.
   3) keep the delete button in a fixed location on the screen for each email like the old Yahoo mail. In the new Yahoo mail, the location of the delete button moves between messages based on the length of the message header. That makes is much slower to quickly move through the email to delete them. Another failure of an improvement.
   4) Keep the Spam, Trash, and Sent folders at the top. The new user interface buries them in submenus, making it slower to access them. Another dumb idea that has no benefit but causes user frustration as compared to the old.

   I hope you can see the pattern of the problems and will create a new user interface that is as at least as good as the old, but not much worse. I am counting on you.

6. Contacts

   The latest version of Yahoo Mail has changed to restrict the number of contacts in the Yahoo Lists menu to select a maximum of 100 email addresses from the Lists menu at a time. If there are more than 100 email addresses in my Contacts Lists menu, Yahoo will only allows 100 email addresses from the List menu to be selected at one time. All other email addresses in the Lists menu must be manually selected when mailing emails from the Lists menu.

   This method is quite burdensome and difficult to use. The previous version of Yahoo Mail allowed all email addresses listed in the Lists menu to be selected and mailed.

   Please once again to allow all email addresses in the Lists menu to be select at one time rather than just 100 email addresses. Thank you.

    I've been with Yahoo since 1999, and your decisions never cease to amaze me.
    And you claim to care about your customers?

    Spam should be listed on the left menu. We have to check our Spam folder every day for missed messages. No reason for the "Spam" button to be hidden. Get it out there where we can see it and use it.
