Desktop site on ipad
I have a major issue with how Yahoo handles when it shows the desktop vs. mobile site. I have three devices. A Mac desktop, iPad and iPhone.
- On the Mac desktop i am presented with the “desktop” sites for yahoo (general) and Yahoo Mail
- On my iPad (configured to show desktop site)., I am presented with the “desktop” for yahoo (general), but Yahoo Mail ALWAYS shows the mobile site.
- On my iPhone i get mobile sites and i am fine with that.
My issue is the iPad. Now that i use my iPad as a desktop connected to large external monitors. Having the mobile mail sites frankely sucks. But specifically i loose two key features. The ability to view “PRIMARY” vs. all (i can get this from the yahoo app). The other is that i loose the ability to multi-select mail. neither the mobile web, or the app support this and it’s killing my ability to use Yahoo.
I have been a customer for years and years and this will force me to leave your service.
