Don't send me back to old Yahoo whenever I need to revise my contacts (set up groups, revise a person's phone or email, etc.). New Yahoo Mail remains a sad beta version until it includes all essential functions.

Yahoo assumes e-mail addresses are the same.
I receive e-mail from someone whose account uses my same first and last name. It is very difficult to search for these e-mails, because Yahoo assumes it's an alternate address for me
Then there are cases where I have both someone's business and personal e-mails. Yahoo lumps these altogether and makes it very difficult to get at the e-mail address that I use less often, even though it is often necessary that I use only one of those e-mail addresses.
This is a case of the system trying to be smart and actually being stupid.

Export contacts loses some phone numbers
When exporting contacts, if a contact has multiple phone numbers of the same type, some will not export.

Groups can be added all at once but "Remove from list" is only one at a time.
If I've highlighted two contacts, "Assign" shows up. I need an "UNassign" so I can remove multiple emails from a List (group) all at once. It's way too cumbersome if I decide to subdivide my group, to do so one name at a time with a confirmation popup for each one.
