Improve search and filter ability. Focus on core email. Not useless frills.
You should have Boolean ability for filters. You are so bad at filtering SPAM. Why don't you have more features that actually help users? Search is also terrible.

Sorting sent emails by email address
I am looking for a way to sort emails in your Sent folder by sender. Yahoo Support responded that unfortunately, sorting emails by sender in the sent folder is not available in the current version of the product.
I believe that would be useful and I am posting this suggestion to add that function on this feedback forum.
I am asking the product teams to review this post for possible inclusion in future releases.

Moving Emails Into Folders
Whenever I try and move emails from inbox into one of my folders a "pop up" on the left hand side showing "Split View" appears and therefore I cannot easily copy my emails into folders. This has been happening for a few months now. Please make it stop!

I love that you have folders for us to store emails...up until recently
Just recently, when filing emails in assigned folders, every time I try to drag an email and deposit in to assigned folder, the page wants to split. Very annoying. Makes something that should take just a moment a real pain in the kazoo. Please fix.

In advanced search, you can no longer specify that you only search one folder. I used to use that nearly every day, so.

Mail folders
Unable to widen the window/pane where folders are shown on the left side of the mail screen. You are able to see the first and second folders in the tree, but if there are any nested folders beyond that, the names are cut off and you are unable to expand the view to see the names.

Mail dissapeared
I have just worked on a long important draft. Suddenly a flash, and all the Text just disappeared.
I have never had that. Drafts are always backed up and safed to reopen at any time . This text is just gone.
Would it be saved elsewhere?Could you please help, Wolfgang Kasseckert

Don't mix all the unread emails with the inbox unread emails. Why bother with filters
The latest version of Yahoo for Android mixes unread emails from all my folders with my inbox. It didn't do this before. Go back to the old way. This is way too cluttered. What's the use of having filters to put things in separate folders?

unread items in folders
On android, always used to be able to see the number of unread items in a folder without going into the folder. That has been removed for some reason, although you can see it when you move an item manually. Please re-add this functionality.

show folder in search results
Please include the "Containing Folder" in search results to reduce the need to repeat move actions if already moved. Currently search results show across all folders but does not show which folder the mail item exists in if already moved.

Folders are now partially hidden, which makes navigation less efficient.
In the previous version, the vertical divider between the folders and the email list was flexible and could be moved left or right. That was much more practical. Now the divider is fixed, which reduces usability.
Additionally, the third column (Starred / Contacts) cannot be hidden. There is no option to collapse it when it is not needed. Why must it always remain visible?
These changes negatively impact workflow and overall user experience.

Request to disable split window when dragging emails
Hello Yahoo Support Team,
I am writing to share feedback on the Yahoo Mail web interface.
When I drag an email to a folder, a split window often appears. This interrupts the action and slows down routine email management. It happens even with careful cursor movement.
It would be very helpful to have an option to disable this behaviour. A simple setting to turn off the split window would improve usability, especially for users who manage large inboxes daily.
I value Yahoo Mail and would welcome more control over drag and drop actions. Thank you for considering this feedback.

get rid of it the old one was the best
all my saved emails were deleted by your new system i would like them all back and the old email system this new system sucks and the fact you thought very little what would happen to customers emails that have been with you for decades is very disgusting . I have had tool purchases in files that i am still waiting for and now i dont have contact info anymore i stand to lose lots of time and money because of this mess . NOT F"N HAPPY

My archive folder disappeared from the yahoo mail app on my mobile phone with over 300 archived emails with very important documents. The rep, LEO, was not helpful and told me to write my concern here. The folder list now has a DONE folder which I DID NOT create and it has replaced my ARCHIVE folder. This folder had emails archived for over a year with invoices, receipts, confirmations, etc. I am sick as to where it went and how did it disappear.
My laptop has the Archive folder and not the done folder.… -

BY NOT EXTORTING CUSTOMERS!!!!
First Yahoo EXTORTED us for additional storage, NOW you make it IMPOSSIBLE to DL folders and emails to a local drive in order to archive and reduce server storage. THESE two issues are why I'm trying desperately to move everything OFF Yahoo so I can establish a different email elsewhere, cancel my Yahoo extortion fees and leave Yahoo FOREVER!
