Ads with fake checkboxes are deceptive!
I've noticed a lot more ads in the email folder/list view that have fake checkboxes. If you are trying to clean up emails, it is easy to accidentally click on one of these ads and open a new window/tab. I see this as a deceptive practice on the part of Yahoo Mail because it creates a perception that a customer is purposefully going to that ad. I recommend that you remove the fake checkboxes on ads. Multi Email address view
Bring back the old multi account view. Now I cannot see if new mail comes in on multiple addresses without having to manually check each one. The side bar view showing a number badge was much more optimal. Please bring an option to have a good overview.

Please bring back the magnifying glass search shortcut for old emails
I am writing to request that Yahoo Mail brings back the individual magnifying glass search icon next to emails/senders.
The current layout makes it difficult to quickly surface and look through older emails that have not been deleted. Previously, clicking the magnifying glass next to a specific sender or within a folder allowed for an instant, seamless historical search. Removing this shortcut has added extra steps and friction to navigating my inbox.
Please consider restoring this highly useful feature for users who manage large, long-term email archives. Thank you for listening to user feedback. -

This is not an idea. This is a problem. Your Customer Care tech support said to post the problem here.
Regarding the advanced search line, I never had to enter a full word before:
I could enter "imag" and it would retrieve imaginative.
I could enter "Prager" and it would retrieve PragerU.
I could enter "theste" and it would retrieve thesternmethod.The reason I enter shortened versions is often because it will pick up similar e-mails under variations. This saves time. And plus I might not know the extended version that it wants for retrieval. And then I get nothing…

I Miss Being Able to Block Senders
I'm extremely disappointed that the Block Sender option disappeared from my options in recent months. I have been bombarded by so much more spam and scam emails, some of it incredibly vile, since that option went away. Please bring back my ability to block them.

Dont hide name change options
I have been trying to change my name on my email for 3 years. I have changed my profile name to my new name, but whenever I send emails the recipient gets my old name. Every instruction on the internet tochange this tells me to go to places that do not exist in my ap or on the website. How do I make this right? I am a trans person and this email has been making people dead name me for years and it feels awful every time.

Rearrange topics section above Yahoo Mail search bar.
I think that it would be better to rearrange the yahoo topics that appear on top of the Yahoo Mail search bar in the following manner:
HOME, SEARCH, NEWS, FINANCE, SHOPPING, SPORTS, ENTERTAINMENT, LIFE, MAIL, YAHOO PLUS.
The reason being that we are already in Yahoo Mail and we shouldn't really need to click on it again. Also, the search function is usually associated with the home page and shopping with finance. Thanks!

searching for specific messages
With the old mail, I could specify which folder to look in when I searched for a specific name or email address. Now I can't do that and that's a huge hassle. Bring back that option.
Also, it is time now for you to add themes, colors and backgrounds. The new mail is beyond ugly and plain and embarrassing. Also ******* the eyes.

MAIL locks up
I go to select mail items yo be deleted and after a few before i can delete, the system hangs up on google chrome.
I refresh and start over and does it repeatedly. i have to delete one by one.
TOTALLY unacceptable. either fix or i forward mail to another platform that works!!! and thus bye bye yahoo.com after owning your stock for 29 years. -
New yahoo format is an abomination
What idiot designed your new yahoo mail format??? Please fire them. Google all the complaints on line regarding this change.... People hate it. And the functionality is horrible. When you try to reply to messages, prior messages are on top and bottom. The Sequential Order is a mess. Very difficult to work with.

New Mail is too bloated and slow - Give me back the previous version or basic mail please.
Yahoo basic mail was overall the best version you had. All it needed was the ability to auto refresh and the removal of the 25 message per page limit. I find the new version very slow. Loading is slow. Sorting messages is really a chore. Scrolling up and down in a long inbox is painful with stuff reloading on the page. Too much latency. Stop with all the scripting. Basic mail used only a fraction of the memory compared to what the new version does. I usually have three folders open at the same time, and running the new mail…

Get rid of this screen and give me a close button that is easy to use and prominently displayed.

Naviagation and Display of new Yahoo Mail
You took away the ability to open messages in new tabs. I used this feature all of the time. I just read a message that had links to some webpages that required a log in. I couldn't remember my password, so I had to close out of the email, open my passwod reminder folder, and after I found my password reminder, I had to scroll down my messages again until I could find and open the email with additional links. In the old system I would just open my password folder in a new tab, find the password, and re-open…
