In the old classic version of yahoo mail, I could click print email and the email would pop up in it's own box. I could do this for many emails at a time, each one in it's own pop up box. This then allowed me to handle all of my work at once, one by one, I could close the email print box as I completed the task at hand and not have to go back to my inbox and file those emails. Phishing Malware coming through Yahoo ads
There is a phishing malware scheme coming through on yahoo advertising. It warns and threatens that your computer has been compromised, and then says through a recording that you need to call a number to restore the computer. DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER! Simply disconnect your internet connection and close your browser. Then restore the internet connection.
This is annoying though, and most likely some people are unfortunately calling the phishing scheme. This has been going on for a couple of months now. Why has yahoo not fixed this? Yahoo is currently playing a part in distributing this phishing scheme… -
I don't mind ads but your ads are too intrusive.
I don't mind ads, after all yahoo provides us with a free service. But ads can be tailored not to be intrusive when one uses a service. In that case I will white-list yahoo mail.

Stop making it slower and more annoying.
My idea? Go back to the fast, simple, easy to navigate service with minimal advertising and no "fluff". I've used this account for 20 years as my primary personal email and I'm a couple of days from done with this. I'm going back to the old version and if it's not noticeably faster I won't be bothering with your new "Ads before users" mentality,.

I have used yahoo mail for over 20 years and have been a paying email customer for no ads for about 7 or 8 years. If a path back to the previously functional email and contacts is not provided, I will stop being a paying customer and leave yahoo mail permanently. Search does not work still!!!!!!!
The search function does not work at all. If I choose Inbox it still gives me emails in every box. If I search for a specific string i.e. "green box" it comes up with every email no matter what the words are. The new mail is horrible, it is a step backwards in every regard. It is very frustrating and lacks the performance that the previous mail had. And do not tell me to clear everything, I have done it multiple times and it is YOUR mail program.

In the current version of yahoo mail, on an android tablet you cannot see the message you are typing. This seems phenomenally sloppy. You make edits to your ap, you test them out on all devices, then you put it on-line -- the test it out on all devices seems to not have happened here.
On virtually every screen both on a PC, Mac, or any tablet, the following choices should be available:

Yahoo email is the primary reason I started using an ad blocker plug-in!
The constant loading of ads in my browser was slowing down my entire computer, my browser was becoming overloaded and unresponsive creating horrid lag with every few characters typed. When I tried the ad blocker, it counted HUNDREDS of attempted ads in minutes, 3-5 were blocked with every click of my mouse within Yahoo mail. I cannot use this account WITHOUT an ad blocker, so I will just keep closing the stupid pop-up with the raised eyebrow scolding me for blocking ads. Yahoo's own protocol for IMAP push email
Hi,
Yahoo does not support standard IMAP IDLE command. To get email timely, app must do the FETCH frequently and lead to battery drain.
I'm working with a group of developers on an Android email app. According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Push-IMAP Yahoo has its own push protocol via UDP.
Can you please share the technical details? I'd want to be able to add this function to the app I'm working on.

The spam filter is filtering out a lot of my non-spam mail. I have missed a several very important e-mails because of this! How do I fix this problem?

unread mail
It would be nice if the "unread mail" stayed visible for more than 30 seconds. I start reading an article and whoosh----it disappears and goes on to the next email.

slows down - speed it up
When I first log on, Yahoo Mail is responsive - slower than it was, but if I leave, even for a few minutes, Yahoo Mail slows almost to a stop.

SEARCH function is EXTREMELY inconsistent.
When I click on the microscope to search for topics from the same sender, I get a list. But if I start deleting some of those older emails, my new emails appear at the bottom of the list and they are sometimes deleted also. The system then jumps around to new emails instead of just showing those I had searched for. This is REDICULOUS!! When I search I should get only those items!
