Phishing Malware coming through Yahoo ads
There is a phishing malware scheme coming through on yahoo advertising. It warns and threatens that your computer has been compromised, and then says through a recording that you need to call a number to restore the computer. DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER! Simply disconnect your internet connection and close your browser. Then restore the internet connection.
This is annoying though, and most likely some people are unfortunately calling the phishing scheme. This has been going on for a couple of months now. Why has yahoo not fixed this? Yahoo is currently playing a part in distributing this phishing scheme until they get rid of it.

I'm seriously going to find another new online store to sell my products on because of these unrelenting spam ads Yahoo is putting in my business email inbox. Is it really worth it Yahoo...??

I do have AdBlocker - it works great. But There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch. Companies need to have some way to generate revenue, hence the ads. I get it, and I'm OK with it providing the quality of the ads are high and I don't get malware introduced because of these ads. As such I've re-enabled AdBlocker and won't disable it until the ads stop trying to hack my computer.

I unblocked your ads and pages that take over the tab claiming you are infected result. You need to guarantee that these virus-based ads are not allowed before I'll unblock. I agree: TANSTAAFL, but raise the quality of your ads.

If your browser has it, use adblock. Stops that ad in its tracks.

There is something far worse happening. I am receiving mail from *** providers that use names appearing in my emails. Are these people now able to read my mail? If this is the case it is time to find a new provider, the current one obviously cannot handle security. Do they even know what that word means?

Here is a better one, how about Yahoo! get rid of intrusive and interactive ads that no one likes in their email and allow what you are experiencing to take place. Yahoo really needs to get their act together instead of berating people like me for blocking these ads for my own security.

For the last week now I have not gotten emails that subscribed to. I believe this is due to the recent changes. I even went to the web sites and subscribed again still not coming through. :(

Emails not coming through when they are sent to me. For example at 5pm ill get all my emails for that day at one time instead of them coming through when people actually email me. I use this for my business and it is making me miss customers and client interactions.

I would like a setting where I don't have to ok that it's me using my computer with my phone. I mean, isn't that the point of the password and user ID in the first place? It makes it where I cant check my email at work, as I cant use my phone, even though I'm not using my phone I'm at a computer. If I wanted to pick up my phone, I would just check my email on it too.
