Lost mail
Why do you keep losing my mail. One second it is there, then the next it is gone. I can't find it anywhere. This is something that really needs fixed. I will have to go somewhere else because I am losing important emails.

Yahoo mail is deleting all of my emails that are 24 hrs old how do I stop this?? I am switching over to gmail from now but since get tons of emails on my yahoo account - it will take months to switch over

Do you people even check the complaints that your customers are giving you? most of us have been with yahoo for many many years!! this is getting ridicules when it takes HOURS to go through 50 emails??? i know ads pay for the free service but when the service is so poor that we cant even go through our mal in a timely manner, your defeating the whole purpose!! please fix: errors when checking emails, the ads that continuously crash yahoo, being able to categorize your emails, the total performance of the web page itself!!!

It is frustrating that after I close an email it goes back to the top of the page. It is annoying and time consuming .
It is frustrating that after I close an email it goes back to the top of the page. It is annoying and time consuming because I have to scroll again and find the last email that I've opened. Why is it like this now YAHOO? I am thinking of switching to gmail now if this will not be solve by the yahoo team.

A separate "Not Spam" contact list or a quick filter option
Marking e-mails as "Not Spam" has, quite honestly, never worked. I have a handful of senders whose messages always end up in spam no matter what I do.
I know adding someone to your contacts list will keep their messages from getting routed into spam, but my contacts sync with my phone. I don't want a bunch of e-mail addresses from non-profits and online retailers cluttering up my Contacts.
If there was a special 'Not Spam' contacts list that didn't sync with phones but ensured a sender was permanently routed into my inbox, that would be great.

Whatever "rich" javascript UI you idiots put in, take it out. the UI regularly freezes my browser, regardless of which I use. In fact, it's frozen my browser now and all I'm doing is TYPING. I'm 20 words ahead of the input box. Who tested this? Are they mentally incapacitated? Who programmed it? Same question. This is one of the worst browser-based user interfaces I have ever used and that includes geocities. Fire the VP that signed off on this dog ****.

Black writing on a pale ground please. It is very simple and VISIBLE!!!! The trend for aenemic detail you have to squint to find or tilt the laptop screen back too far to get visible is intolerably cruel.

You can make the darn thing work. It regularly freezes for many minutes at a time. I cannot download attachments that I have saved . All
JUST MAKE IT WORK! No wonder Yahoo is going broke., IF it wasn't such a hassle I'd change to somebody else.
