How do I get back to what I had?
I pay for premium service. Not to do testing on partially developed products. This edition takes too long to locate emails, fails often, and in short is definitely not what I pay for.

removes first email from the inbox. If I switch back to "classic" and open the email, it also removes the next "first" email. This is worse than useless--it's actively dysfunctional.

I hate yahoo mail. I have a thousand emails. You had a filter where you can sort vendors and send them directly to trash. Keep simple.
Keep yahoo email simple. Eliminate the ads. Add filter options for consumers so that we can send email to archive or trash immediately.
Who cares about colors. We want to read our email QUICKLY without alot of fuss. I personally do not want to see ads of any kind.The filter option should allow us to right click and delete all emails from that vendor if we want to. I refuse to go one by one to delete junk mail. Please show the contact list. I am not able to find it. Also you are displaying too few emails, but too many commercials. Please remove the "pup-up" message income notice (on the corner of the screen) from the system that take some space and it is annoying. Drafts are disappearing from my "draft file" which were safely saved and stored for a later time doing. I assure you that my Yahoo was not hacked so far. How do I go back to the old one? Thanks

improve IT support for users as unable to access account for 2 months
The IT support is non-existent to the point that I have lost my account that I created in 2014, with no chance of getting back. In fact I have had to create a new account just to add this comment.
Also now any work or personal emails and attachments are now lost so I have no chance of recovering documents/emails if I am to apply to jobs/mortgages etc. -
What did you do to a perfectly good website? It sucks, big time. Mail won't load, becomes non responsive. Sheesh! Good thing it's free.
Undo what ever that genius did to ruin a good mail system. What happened to my contact list, too? I never used to have problems with Yahoo. Now it's the worst.
