post the imap and other mail package settings so i can use another mail package. web based is too slow.
stop the opening of mail in the same window as the mail list is in. after open it you have to close 1 windows and change to opened email window then go back to list. Its a Waste of time.

It is very frustrating to obtain NO HELP AT ALL from Yahoo regarding this issue. A trickle of incoming mail, no send, and absolutely no help from Yahoo. Original 14-character password changed immediately after December 24 hack. Since then, my contacts and others receive extraneous mail from " my " address that I never sent.
Hack reported immediately, with no action whatsoever by yahoomail. -
Yahoo Mail unable to clear remove delete past lists of Recent Searches
why can not delete remove my historical past search lists mentioned within the yahoo mail search's column again and again , even though previously already clear those mentioned-words lists by click "X" many times in past months :( until now the long time ago words still showing mentioning in yahoo's "mail recent search" column :(

Yahoo ads are the greatest source of adware, malware, spyware and ransomware on the internet. I have encountered nothing but scams and damage to my computer by even touching those ads with a cursor. If we are going to be forced to look at ads, the least you can do is to exercise some oversight as to the content, and stop letting your ad posters do it without you knowing the code they are posting. So far have lost two pc's to malware from yhaoo mail.

Our group plans to discontinue using this service. Just about everyone has given up trying to use yahoo!mail as its failures are too numerou
Completely eliminate this bad service and create one that works. My group has given me nothing but complaints and almost everyone has stopped using it. I generally receive a daily journal only about once every few months. It's pathetic. Let me know who your advertisers are so that I may make certain to not use their services.

1) Restore a long list of Filter Rules back to original state if messed up or corrupted
2) Mass Modify and update filter rules to be uploaded back
How?
This is actually an add-on to the Export/Backup Filter Rule, Idea 04.
1. Perform a back up export first to extract all possible and relevant fields and filter rules (see Idea 04)
2a. Use the exported rules to analyse existing rules, to understand and troubleshoot logic

4) Figure out impact of deleting a specific filter rule (Enable/Disable rule might be better, need new feature)
5) Easily create new Filter Rules from similar ones (if yahoo allow this new feature in the future)

Currently, I am using about 70 filters and likely on a upwards trend. Read somewhere that we could have up to 500 filters and some even asked for more...
What is needed to manage and make sense of 500 filters?

Download of individual attachment is not working correctly all the time.... receive notification that the download completed successfully, but 0kb is indicated. Had to make multiple attempts to download a single attachment.

What improvements?
No longer drag and drop attachments, only appear now as inline graphics.
Keystroke gone for adding attachments.
Moved calendar icon to top right which displays 31 all the time. Previously it displayed the current day's date - very handy!
Slow operating speed.
No row of recent emails along the top.
Just to list a few downgrades - why don't you leave it alone!!!
Bring back the old one.!!
