2-step verification setting is off, but Yahoo does it anyway
My 2-step verification is turned off, yet when signing in Yahoo request it. The reason I turned it off is every now and then, including today, I get the message to do the 2-steps. In doing so I end up with a deadlock - Yahoo wants me to get the code from Netscape account, and when I go to log-in at Netscape it wants me to get the code from Yahoo. Since I can't get the code from either I am in a deadlock. This can result in major harm, if one needs to contact health/finance companies.2-stae

Protect customers by holding emails while storage space is added
Because of a full mailbox, my account stopped receiving emails from 8:02am to around 12:40pm on 9/10/25. I immediately purchased additional space after those 4 hours, but the emails received in that +4h window were never delivered to my account. On top of that, when I asked whether they would be delivered once the account had additional space available, I received an email from you guys stating that "...emails sent to you while your mailbox is full are not stored and can't be recovered." I am not able to find my old email in yahoo. While I am able to view them when I am connecting to my yahoo account on MOBILE, the same is NOT reflecting when I am using my laptop.

Spam messages
Very frustrated with the Spam folder. Getting upwards of 30-40 spam messages per day. The blocking feature is not working. The blocking feature needs to be fixed and there needs to be a way to have previously blocked senders automatically deleted.

An option to automatically delete mail older than a few years old if not already moved to another file.

G or PG rated ads for children (or children who may see my screen)
I tutor elementary students. I receive their assignments via email. I share my screen when accessing their assignments. It would be helpful to have only G or PG rated ads so they are not exposed to ads for underwear, alcohol, or other adult content. Thank you.

Please do not get rid of classic mail or the ability to switch to classic mail. I do not like the new look and experience.

Trying to add or block an email address and in the security and privacy and the ADD button does not work.

GIve us back the full email page width. Otherwise give us a setting we can use to increase the width enough to see the full email.

Spam filter
You gotta get a better Spam filter. I constantly apply the block sender/delete future emails/delete existing emails function...but I continue to get ads for Insurance, weight loss medication, and "Charming Ukrainian girls"...and no I dont want any of those things.

I am a researcher, and I work a lot with Yahoo email. Unfortunately, my account has been blocked because of the storage limitation law. I tried to pay for higher storage, but it was impossible. It was possible only for US customers. I need to get my emails urgently. Would you please help me with this problem? (haghighatshah@gmail.com)
