  1. have emails automatically deleted after a set period of days.

    It would be nice to have possibility in settings to have emails automatically deleted after 8 or 10 days. Many people receive e-mails that are only valid for one week. They (including me) often forget about it and never go back to delete it. With a setting to automatically delete after so many days the inboxes will not get as clogged as they are now.

    I have set up my language to English in Account / Preferences, but it keeps changing to Romanian. This functionaity does not seem to work.

  5. Filters Do NOT Work:

    Email filters simply do not work.
    For the first time in about 8 years, I have begun receiving 10-20 SPAM emails every day.
    While I have in specific filters to block individual email addresses, I have also noted that the vast majority originate from two servers: xxxx@pitchdesigners.com and xxxxx@netedesign.com.
    I put in place filters to block any email contining in the from address any "pitchdesigners" or any "netedesign". Neither filter works. I continue to get multiple emails every day from these two originators.

    Why do these filters not work?

    I just read this forum, and it's clear everyone HATES yahoo asking us if we want to unblock ads/upgrade our mail accounts.

    Please let us turn off those questions. We've all answered them countless times.

    Short of that, I'm dumping yahoo after more than 20 years.

    Allow me to block you asking me to upgrade/go ad free.

    How many effing times do I have to say no?

    I'm seriously considering dumping Yahoo. I've had a mail account for more than 20 years, and this is just too annoying every effing day.

  8. i just empted my 1,000 blocked senders 1 @ a time how stupid why not add a right click option to reset to 0???

    make it easy to reset block senders when you reach the 1,000 limit like a single right click or an additional option????????????

  10. Can't make the font bigger in Yahoo Mail.

    This is all vlery unclear. Where is the "Options" button that's supposed to be in "Settings?" I need to make the font bigger but the directions for how to do this online do not work bc what they say to click on is not there.

  12. Robust signature options needed

    1. A signature should be available across all devices. I use the same account on my laptop, ipad, and phone, yet they each have individual settings.

    2. Based on what I know Outlook has, I think it would be good if Yahoo! could allow a different signature each for new threads and replies.

  13. Why do my emails change to groups while I am viewing more than oneemail

    Why do emails have to suddenly change to groups while I am viewing them I already have emails from certain groups sorted into groups. I need to answer a solicitors mail not write up stuff on here. While I am trying to follow a timeline within the solicitors mails suddenly I am faced with a new group of emails. It is not helpful at all because I d not know if this new group is what I have already viewed, about to view, or not even viewed this time. Rather than trying to be clever can you just leave settings…

    most images in open email msgs now highlight for some reason even when the cursor is not hovering over them. the cursor/mouse apparently now just needs to be in the same general horizontal plane as the image and the image-highlighting feature turns on which is EXCEEDINGLY ANNOYING.

    I had a tab open, with some search results.
    I clicked on 'settings', opening a settings dialog.
    When I was done I hit 'esc', to close the settings dialog.
    *Instead, my open tab closed". (and the settings dialog stayed open).

  17. tab contents aren't persistent

    I wanted to add a filter.
    I went to settings, navigated to the filters page, created a new filter, and started entering information.
    I wanted to refer to the contents of another tab before proceeding. So I switched to the other tab, then returned to the settings tab.
    My work was undone! I was back at the settings page as it was before I created the filter. I needed to start over.
    The contents of the tab should persist if I navigate away and return to it.
