    Why can I not turn off notifications? I'll look at my mail when I want to. It is my secondary email only.

    You can turn off notifications in Yahoo Mail. 

    Click the Settings icon | click More Settings .

    1. Click Notifications.
    2. Toggle Desktop notifications OFF

  2. schedule emails ahead- your competition has this feature. Please keep up!!!

    Please allow for scheduling emails. other emails have this feature that allows you to create an email to be sent out at a scheduled time. It would help me a lot

  3. NEED YAHOO IN ENGLISH not Spanish

    Yahoo, your "help" is NOT very helpful. I think you should NOT change the language just because we are traveling. Leave it up to the user to choose the language. My goodness! This is taking me SOOOO long to figure out. My husband just said, "Why are you using Yahoo? Change to gmail. I don't have that problem." Good point!

  4. Serious Security Issue with SEND ONLY EMAIL

    How about security as a category?
    My mother recently had her account hacked, recently as in last night. We are not sure how they got access exactly but they were extremely sneaky and appear to be taking a new approact. They created an outlook account with the same email id as her yahoo id, then added their own id to the password reset settings.

    They ALSO added the outlook to the send only email settings, something I didn't even know was a thing, and here is the part you need to let your security team know about IMMEDIATELY.

  5. block domain

    Although I blocked a domain (uk. o r g) quite a while ago, recently emails from that spammer started making it into my spam inbox. Yesterday I re-entered that domain in my settings block list. Today their spam is in my regular inbox. Does the domain blocker no longer work? Their stuff is really annoying and prolific.

    Hi there. I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue! Spammers are constantly evolving their practices and blocking their email addresses/domains does not help much as they are mostly sending emails from spoofed addresses or they send the same content but from different email addresses, which makes it look like they are coming from the same email address/domain. Marking them as Spam teaches your personal filter to recognize them as Spam. You can also create filters, here's how: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/filters-organize-yahoo-mail-sln28071.html

    Hi, emails will stay in your inbox for as long as it is active. A mailbox would be considered inactive if you don't access it for 12 months.


    If that's not the case, please reach out at help.yahoo.com and we'll figure out what went wrong.

    Yahoo Support please allow it to be available for free users, since that many users encounter issues could not afford or access Yahoo Plus by country restrictions. Yahoo Support remains important 24/7 for everyone.

    With 2 way identification you should make more options to reset or recover pasword. My mail is hacked with e mail my facebook is hacked and my apple acoount but not only that i dont have options to recover it because for some reason i dont got verification code for my hacked account ( for other works) i also cant reach yahoo support us number from checz republic. sow someone is going thry years of e mails us millitary contacts and informations while i can reset stupid yahoo mail even i got on recovery mail code it aslo require phone…

  11. Once again forced into 2 step verification despite having the feature off.

    2-step has caused me to loose to accounts permanently. I DO NOT TRUST IT. I DO NOT USE IT. I DO NOT WANT TO BE FORCED TO USE IT TO ACCESS MY ACCOUNT. It is just as easy to hack as anything else. If I enter my password CORRECTLY ON THE FIRST TRY then I should be allowed immediate access to my account. NO additional step required.

    You're not protecting me. Your legal department doesn't care about me at all.

    Hello! A few days ago I wanted to block a link but by mistake I blocked 3-4 sites including greenpanthera. Greenpanthera is an online survey site, it's serious, and I collaborate with them. Please unlock just this one for me. Thank you for your understanding and help. Have a nice day

    your sign in process and blocking me for 1 hour is the reason I will be leaving this account. The block was outrageous.

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. That sounds familiar. Yahoo may at times enforce a login wait to help ensure account security and privacy. There's no way for us to bypass this in the contact center, so we recommend waiting the prescribed amount of time. It's usually fairly short and you can then try logging in again. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

  19. From/To information in emails

    Is there a way to turn off the new, expanded information (From/To) that appears in messages as of yesterday? It's very distracting and makes it difficult to scan subject, top part of content with opened emails. So much so, that I just scan in the inbox, rather than opening emails.
