  1. Bring back generate app passwords

    The generate app passwords feature has been disabled. This means I cannot add my Yahoo mail account to Outlook desktop on my new PC.

    I have been a loyal customer of yours for decades. Treating customers like this is appalling.

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Due to some recent changes designed to improve the safety of our platforms and member privacy, we’ve made the process to create App Specific Passwords more secure. This can result in some difficulty when trying to set up an ASP from a new device. Please ensure that you try creating an app password without using an Incognito browser and use a browser where you have signed into that account in the past, for at least a couple of days. If this is not successful, there may not be a workaround; as we don't know if or when this feature will be available, we encourage you to use Webmail or the Yahoo Mail app to access your email. We’ll share the feedback on how this experience has been for you internally. Thanks again for letting us know.

  2. Remove 2 step verification if customer has requested removal

    Remove 2 step verification code. I dont have international roaming on my phone for overseas - can't access my emails. Terrible service!

    I no longer can control my information. You got rid of passwords years ago and now brought them back. None of my emails were answered.

    Yahoo is like talking to a robot. Only interested in paying customers for a simple enquiry.

    I think you'll be attracting more scammers by introducing phone verification. Lots of scams are now via the phone.

    Why can I not stay logged in? I am sick and tired going through going through so many verifications for no reason. Getting a log-in cog should be good enough

  7. AT&T

    Yahoo mail needs a simple control to open, view, and respond to AT&T.net mail without leaving Yahoo mail. OR a way to have AT&T.net mail link to Yahoo mail so those messages are accessible. Since Yahoo mail is white labeled as "Currently" for AT&T, this integration should be a PRIORITY!

    allow more than 1000 blocked email addresses , I would pay for premium mail if this feature was available but the limit is the same for free or Yahoo Mail Plus

  12. Fix the app/two step verification. Repeatedly the codes provided did not work in the apps. OVER AND OVER. Might be time to leave Yahoo

    I’ve been trying to log in repeatedly on my iPad IN THE APP. I’ve used text to phone and code sent to third-party email address and nothing works. I must have tried a dozen times. I’m finding the experience very frustrating.

  14. audio notification of new email

    Can we please have an audio notification for new emails? I often leave the computer on while doing other things and keep having to go back to the screen to see if new emails have arrived. would be really useful. A beep or something. can this be done?

  15. The whole concept of "New password is too similar to the old one" is stupid.

    Why would you not let me change my password to whatever the **** I want. So what if the new password is similar to the old ones I used, it's my choice to have the password I want...

    There used to be an "x" on the top right corner of an ad, allowing me to report why I did not want that on my screen. For the past week, I have this blasted ad of a video game but shows just a computer generated image of a woman who is in a bikini top, which barely covers her bust. This is really offensive to me because I have my computer on for work at home and my kids are around. But there is no choice to close out this ad which makes me angry that I am subjected…

  18. Why is Inbox, not a folder selection under Filters?

    I do not understand why Inbox is not a selection for a folder when creating a filter. I have one email address that keeps going to spam, no matter how many times I mark it NOT SPAM. I also created a contact for this email and it still ends up in the SPAM folder.

    Hi there. I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're facing! Emails routed to the Spam folder cannot be re-routed by setting filters. Please keep marking this sender as Not Spam so your personal spam filter learns to recognize it as a wanted sender/email. 

  19. email messages are NOT coming to inbox as they normally have due to New Yahoo change

    Just spoke to yahoo customer service while speaking today I discovered the 6 new (blue toolbars on top of page just below yahoo purple border) folder toolbars that are set to default to "priority" which show only the most common contacts (makes you think you are missing or not getting all your emails). Also set to "unread" and hardly any come to "inbox" category any linger. But.......you must now manually click the upper far right folder marked " All " then your home page email screen restores back to normal view. The default to "priority" is the new problem, manually…
